Casa del Sole is situated in a typical little street in the centre of Taormina: friendly hustle and bustle, numerous monuments and sights, leafy green courtyards, cafés, restaurants, shops, travellers from around the world and Mediterranean flair. Not far away are the elegant Corso Umberto, the cathedral and the Greek theatre, internationally renowned for its performances and events. Formerly an artisan workshop, the house features functional and straightforward fittings and décor. It was once a place for living and working, and this is reflected both outside and inside: local artisans' work, Sicilian tiled floors, stairs made of lava rock, paired with antique and modern furniture. The ground floor houses the living and kitchen area. The upper floor contains the stylish bedroom, with direct access to the bathroom. The little bedroom balcony affords a relaxed view of the busy life of Taormina, perhaps accompanied by the strains of your favourite music, audible in all rooms thanks to a sophisticated sound system.
