"A Place with Character - but Needs Refurbishing"
This is a very old building and has loads of character. Their are two reception rooms, ten bedrooms and a reasonable kitchen considering the size of property. We were here to celebrate two birthdays, w… More
Thank you for your comments as feedback is always useful to help us improve our home.
Lea Hall is a listed Grade 2* building so there are restrictions on what one can do and we would not wish to alter the character of the house, it has undergone a full refurbishment including re wiring, secondary glazing and bathrooms, and still looks like a listed building not a new build.
There are 2 reception rooms are in original format as built by the Nightingales hundreds of years ago and cannot be changed.
Of the 10 ensuite bedrooms, showers that are fitted in 6 and are a standard size we also offer a further 4 en suites with free standing baths none are small. Our bedrooms & bathrooms are individual and different sizes so there is a choice available for small or large guests.
The Games Room is in the cellar and we have a dehumidifier that is on continuously as we are level with the water table.I apologise that there was no table tennis ball but I did not receive a phone call about this at any point during your stay so I was unable to rectify this minor issue.
We do not advertise anywhere that we have a tennis court, we do have a netted hardstanding play area with a small net, which is left for our guests to put up as and where they require it.
We welcome people to come and view Lea Hall to ensure it is suitable for your needs as we want you to enjoy our home as much as we do.
