Newly designed luxurious studio accommodation attached to Mauritian Creole style home. The studio is bright, cheerful and comfortable. The swimming pool is a few steps from the door.
Tamarin is a peaceful village of fishing boats and salt pans at the mouth of the River du Rempart. The public beach has the best surfing on the island and the sunsets are memorable. Dolphins gather in the bay.

The Mauritius West Coast/Flic en Flac region
Surrounded by the beautiful volcanic skyline, the Western Coast is famous for its green sugar cane fields, superb beaches and tranquil lagoons. The Black River Gorges National Park is a walkers paradise. The park protects pink pigeons, Mauritian Kestrels, Parakeets, monkeys, deer and wild boars. Grande Riviere Noire is renowned for big game fishing. The multi-coloured earths of Chamarel is a world famous geological phenomenon. The Casela Nature Park offers a rich variety of birds, animals, gardens and activities. Le Morne Brabant is a spectacular 555metre high, table topped mountain at the centre of Le Morne Peninsula.
Tamarin area
There are Mauritian Creole, French, Chinese, Japanese, Italian restaurants along the main road. The next town along the coast -Flic-en-Flac-(approx 20 mins drive) boasts a casino, dancing and live entertainments.
Two very good supermarkets are within 5 minutes by car. A newly built shopping centre -Ruisseau Creole- is 5 minutes away. Ex-factory and duty free (Euro-Free!) shops make Mauritius a fun and inexpensive shopping experience. Pharmacy, banks, and well qualified, english-speaking doctors are within easy reach.
How to get there
Fly to SSR International Airport Mauritius which is approx 45k from Tamarin. We will be pleased to arrange a taxi pick-up (24 Pounds) and you will take about an hour to reach us. We can arrange car hire from 20 pounds per day. (ABC Car Hire) Try ebookers.com - Or try opodo.co.uk if booking ahead.

The kitchen also includes items such as a sandwich maker, cafetiere/percolator ironing board. You will not need to bring beach towels with you, as we will provide two per unit.

Further details outdoors: Enjoy beautiful stunning mountain views from comfortable seats on the veranda. Spacious Landscaped gardens- fruit and exotic plants. Garden walk, flat grass play area - We will be glad to lend you badminton/volley ball, tennis, football equipment. We have snorkling kit .. body board/surf board...bicycle...a golf club set available for loan.

Conditions
Although we will not be asking for a deposit to cover breakages, we do hope to come to an agreement should any item be damaged. Some additional charges for air-conditioning in the hottest months - December-March.- may be applied A non-refundable deposit on booking of 25%. Full payment by arrangement, usually on arrival.
