Barn | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 2
Bwthyn-Gronwy is a one bedroom barn conversion in the popular seaside village of Tal-Y-Bont, recently converted to a very high spec. Everything from the lighting and the under-floor heating right down to the colour scheme and the kitchen appliances have been carefully considered.
Oak stable doors open onto a large open plan living area. A comfortable dining and seating area to one side and a thoroughly modern kitchen to the other. Sky lights and a large picture window, with sea views, fills the space with light. This combined with the high vaulted ceiling gives this room a real sense of space and grandeur. The original wooden beams and whitewashed stone walls mean that the character of the old barn is also retained.

The bedroom is a more romantic room naturally. Sumptuous bedding with tasteful bedside lamps and wardrobe etc creates a tranquil and relaxing space. A huge double shower and marbled walls means the adjoining bathroom is equally as luxurious. A welcome retreat after a long day, building sandcastles on the beach.
The Gwynedd region
If you choose, there are lot’s of activities in the area throughout the year. Everything from adrenaline fuelled pursuits like white water rafting, mountain biking and gorge walking to more relaxing pastimes such as fishing, golf and bird spotting.
Most people visiting Tal-Y-Bont come to be beside the sea. And the cottage does not fail to provide that most traditional of British holidays. In the summer the village is transformed into a bustling coastal community. Fresh sea air carries with it the smell off newly lit BBQs and the sound of children’s laughter. It never rains in Wales. Honest! So don’t forget your flip flops. Socks optional.
Tal-Y-Bont is more of a sleepy little village during the winter months. A different but equally enjoyable experience. Deserted beaches and quiet country pubs gives cottage guests a chance to relax and unwind.
