About the home

Villa Rosina is a brand new (July 2009) luxury villa with great views to the sea, a private pool, fully air-conditioned and lavishly equipped for you to have a relaxing holiday.

Villa Rosina is situated on the edge of the thriving village of Tala with easy access to shops, restaurants, Paphos and the beaches at Coral Bay.

Villa Rosina is spacious, bright and airy with colourful furniture and has everything you would need to accommodate six people in comfort. The ground floor of Villa Rosina is a large open plan area comprising lounge, dining area and kitchen. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room. A covered outside terrace opens off the lounge to the garden and private swimming pool.

Things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Nature Reserve, hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sea caves area, sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from Coral Bay as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings.

The front door of Villa Rosina opens into the open plan area comprising lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The kitchen is large and very well equipped including granite worktops, a washing machine and dishwasher. Between the kitchen and dining area there's a granite topped breakfast bar.

The dining area has a glass topped solid wood table and six chairs with doors opening out to the outside terrace area and private pool. The airy lounge area has a three and a two seater sofa - perfect for relaxing in front of the television with Satellite and DVD player.

From the lounge, doors open out onto a covered terrace and private pool. It is furnished with a glass topped table and six chairs perfect for relaxing in the shade, a quick dip in the refreshing private pool, alfresco dining and socialising with your party. Upstairs, the landing leads to three good-sized bedrooms and the large family bathroom with bath and shower over.

The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom including a shower cubicle. Doors lead out to the balcony with table, chairs and stunning views across the landscaped gardens, the private pool and the fields to the sea at Chlorakas. The perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

There are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin. Both are bright, airy rooms with fitted wardrobes.

Villa Rosina is an attractive villa with stone detailing on the front with an archway porch for the front door.
A short driveway leads to carport built under the villa is perfect for keeping the car cool in the heat of the summer.

The enclosed and landscaped gardens include an 8m x 4m private swimming pool with shower, surrounded by areas for loungers and a barbecue. The villa has six loungers and two cream umbrellas to make the most of the private pool area.

We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact) and has linen changes and cleaning on a weekly basis. The Paphos region

Birthplace of Aphrodite and in Roman times the capital of Cyprus, Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns of Cyprus and is situated on the southwest coast. Sheltered from the north by the Troodos Mountains, it has the healthiest climate in the Mediterranean. Paphos Harbour with it's ancient castle, marine and water sports centres, is lined with colourful restaurants serving fresh fish and marine delicacies. Nearby are archaeological sites, rich with antiquities, providing an interest away from the usual - in fact UNESCO has included Paphos on it's World Cultural Heritage List.

There are no private beaches on the island and Cyprus boasts dozens of European Blue Flag awards. The secluded sandy beaches are perfect for snorkelling and every watersport you can imagine. If you want excitement then you may want to visit one of three world class water parks within easy reach that rival any in the world.

The Tala area

Villa Rosina is just a ten minute stroll into Tala village where you'll find a good selection of shops and tavernas.
Tala is a popular and growing village 8km north of Paphos, set on a west facing hillside looking out over the blue Mediterranean Sea.

Immediately north of the village is the famous Agios Neofytos monastery dating from 1159.
Tala Square is just 1km away and is popular for lunches, relaxing with a drink and evening meals on the verandas of the good quality restaurants, many with stunning views over Paphos and to the sea.

In the fields around Tala you'll find vineyards, orange, lemon, olive and almond trees and banana plantations.
You can drive to Villa Rosina from Paphos Airport in about thirty minutes. From the villa it’s an easy drive into Paphos for some of the best shopping you’ll find anywhere in Cyprus. It's also an easy drive to the centre of Peyia - a vibrant community stretching from the bright lights of Coral Bay to the traditional centre of the old village.

There is a good choice of beaches within an easy drive. Try Coral Bay - a great beach with every amenitie you could imagine. Alternatively drive up the coast road into the Akamas Region to enjoy the deserted beaches of Lara and beyond.

There's a golf course at Tsada (Minthis Hills) approximately 15 minutes drive away. Secret Valley, Aphrodite Hills and Elea Estate can be reached in 30 minutes or less also.

"Stayed 29 August - 4 September. Fantastic!! - Very, very modern and spacious, lacked nothing. Location fantastic, views brilliant. Very, quiet and peacful, just what we wanted. Louise was very friendly and helpful. Five of us stayed there and had a relaxing, peacful and enjoyable holiday. All rooms air conditioned, and the pool is fantastic. Loads of places to eat out a few minuted drive away, but for the majority of our time, we cooked ourself, and sat around the large table by the pool having a few drinks admiring the views. Looking at dates to book next year. Cannot recommend this villa highly enough!!!"

"The villa was very well equipped and comfortable. It was clean and welcoming on our arrival. The lay out worked very well and the pool was lovely. The garden was well planned and the carport kept the car cool. A bonus was that you could see the sea from the villa. It would be essential to have a car at this villa as the walk to the village is about 15 minutes uphill and may not be enjoyable for everyone in the heat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would probably book the same accommodation again "

"The villa was very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The pool was maintained regularly. The villa was very spacious, well air conditoned. Furnishings are very modern, homely, clean. The tv was a flat screen, big and modern with plenty of chanels. A large supermarket is within ten minutes drive and is excellent and well priced. The patios and pool area are superb. A fab outside eating area and barbecue facility. The surrounding area is very peaceful (minus the traditional cockeral) which we all grew to love. Would highly recommend booking this villa, a fab location, an excellent villa and an outstanding holiday had by all the family. Must book. The people managing the property were outstanding and very responsive. Excellent."
