Villa Kismet is situated at the far end of a small cul-d-sac, quiet & peaceful yet with lovely village sqaure of Tala just 1 km away, here you will find a small selection of traditional Tavarnas, where all the waiters speak good English. Although you can enjoy the peacefulness of this area, you are only 10mins drive from the famous Blue Flag Beach of Coral Bay with it's golden sand, and also is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful Akamas Peninsular. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a game at nearby Tsada, while others can enjoy some retail therapy amongst the shops of Paphos Town & harbour. The living area is open plan to the dining area and kitchen with patio doors opening on to a large balcony complete with table & chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms (one with kingsize bed) both with en-suite, while the ground floor has a twin bedroom along side a shower room.

The Paphos region
Within 30mins drive of Paphos Airport you are in the beautiful area of Tala with its mountain view as the backdrop and the sea/sunset to the front, truly stunning. Enjoing a climate of 20-25 degrees from April - June, 25-40 July - September, 25 - 20 October - November approx, it has a wealth of good weather. There are many places of history to visit nearby ie Aprodite's Rock, Agios Neophytos monastery. Banks can be found in Paphos and are open from 8.30am to 1.30pm plus most of them have an ATM machine.
The Tala area

Paphos harbour has a very good selection of bars & pavement cafe's where you can enjoy your cappucino whilst watching the world go by, also there are some very good shops. You can go on a boat trip around to Coral Bay or maybe snorkelling is your thing, there's so many activities to choose from. Tala village square although small has a good selection of tavernas with lot of atmosphere. During the Easter celebrations there is a festival held in the square and is a buzz with singing and dancing.

Villa Kismet was a home from home experience complete with the little finishing touches that made all the difference. It was beautifully equipped and extremely comfortable. The peace and tranquillity of being away from the crowds was so relaxing, and yet the lovely thriving village of Tala is only a short drive or a decent walk away! The whole family enjoyed this holiday and the villa provided a great base with plenty of room for everyone to find their own space. Thank you to Sue and Brian for sharing you lovely holiday paradise! |
