The Paphos region
Paphos is the perfect holiday destination for all the family and has activities and attractions to cater for all. The climate is typical of Cyprus and one can expect hot summers and short, mild winters. Paphos itself is a town of historical importance and once was the Capital of Cyprus. The seafront at Paphos stretching from the Harbour along the front of the town has recently been pedestrianised and makes for a relaxing stroll both during the day and at night. The Archaeological ruins at Paphos are an UNESCO World Heritage site. The Paphos district includes the town itself and also Coral Bay and the Akamas Nature Reserve to the West where one can find secluded bays and deserted beaches. A drive North from the Villa takes you to the quaint fishing harbour of Latchi where you can hire a speedboat for the day or enjoy a drink or meal overlooking the harbour.
There is an abundance of things to do in Paphos and the local area. The Villa is situated in Kamares Village, an award winning development, and the Kamares club is a short walk from the Villa. Here our guests can relax in the communal pool, make use of the bar and restaurant and also book one of the two free tennis courts available for our guests. The Villa is also a short drive or a 30 minute scenic walk from Ayios Neophytos Monastery which is currently the #1 rated 'Thing to do' in Paphos on TripAdvisor.
In and around Paphos there are a number of historical sites to visit including the 'Tomb of the Kings' and the mosaics near Paphos Castle in the harbour. There are an abundance of restaurants and bars in the area suiting all tastes. From the harbour at Paphos you can opt to go on a boat tour into the Akamas peninsular during the day or opt for a champagne and fireworks cruise on an evening. There is an go-karting track in Paphos and also a large waterpark which the whole family can enjoy. Coral Bay is only a short drive from the villa and this is a clean blue flag beach which offers watersports and has two beach bars serving food and drinks. A number of sites offer horse riding and pony trekking and a number also do quad safaris into the nearby nature reserve. There are diving centres all over Paphos and Coral bay and these offer a variety of dives including an opportunity to dive the 'Zenobia'. These all offer the Padi courses if you are interested in learning how to dive! Also some tour operators offer one day trips to Cairo, Egypt from Paphos Airport where you can enjoy a full day in Cairo, see the Pyramids, the National Museum and go on a Nile Cruise and then fly comfortably back to Paphos to enjoy the rest of your stay.
Further afield one can drive to the port town of Limassol or to the divided Capital of Nicosia where the UN operate the 'green line' border between the South of Cyprus and the occupied North.

The villa Panorama was wonderful, beating any of our expectations. High standards throughout, all amenities other than the sky TV which was an issue for the men and football only!!!
A wonderful place that we would all love to stay at again
