It is in a quiet location on the edge of the pretty village of Tala, often called the 'Beverley Hills' of nearby Paphos. the house has 1 single and 2 double bedrooms, each with a balcony, one with views of hills and the main bedroom has a view down to the sea. There is an en suite bathroom and a main bathroom upstairs, also a loo downstairs. there is a small untility room with a washing machine.
There is a private garden with plants and a BBQ, leading via a gate to a shared private pool. Holidaymakers can hire a car and drive to historic sights, play golf, swim and do watersports nearby, or just sit on the patio and enjoy a private drink in the warm sun. The local restaurants are all very good, with a variety of cuisine, and bustling Paphos harbour is only 15 minutes away.

The kitchen is fully fitted with high spec oven, hob, extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, and all the really useful things like a kettle, toaster and tea pot. All the cooking stuff you would need too.There is enough china and cutlery for 12, and a glass dining table seats six at leather chairs. The living room has cream leather sofas, TV, DVD and satellite receiver with over 500 channels and very good picture quality. Wireless internet access is available from a local supplier. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one double with en suite shower and loo and balcony, one twin with balcony, and one single. There is also a fold up bed available. There is also a main bathroom with loo, bath and shower. Solar panels provide a hot water boost.

There is a patio with glass table and 5 chairs, and a BBQ for those who like to cook outdoors. The private garden leads via a gate to the shared private pool which is heated in April and October. There is parking space for 2 cars outside tehe kitchen door, which is very convenient for all those groceries used in self-catering.
We prefer to rent with weekend start dates, but are fully flexible on start and end dates. We are happy to discuss longer-term lets of up to 1 year, and much lower rates.
We take a 25% deposit on booking and also require a security deposit of £150 with the balance, which is all payable 6 weeks before the start date. The security deposit is fully refundable if there are no damages or breakages. We can organise a welcome pack e.g. of breakfast items, that will be there for your arrival. The cost of this is payable to our local agent against their receipt. We can also arrange local car hire including to/from the airports, and taxis if preferred.
The Paphos region
Tala is a pretty traditional Cypriot village, often called the 'Beverley Hills of Paphos', It is up the hill from the coast road and beaches, and not far from Paphos and Coral Bay, where a new marina is to be built soon. It is just over 50m above sea level, a crucial factor as that's the humidity line below which in summer it is harder to sleep thorugh on a summer's night. Tala is surrounded by farms that grow bananas, olives, oranges, lemons and pomegranates that create wonderful smells and different times as the trees blossom.
The Tala area
Lots of nice restaurants both local Cyprus in still, cafes, and good international standard cuisine too if you want it; Apollo's and Aphrodite's baths are nearby. Coral Bay and the local beaches are near and have various water sports. Golf can be found nearby too. There is a huge water theme park in Paphos, where the harbour has all the best shops and many good restaurants.
How to get there

Fly to Paphos, then drive though Paphos either along the coast road or higher up. Tala is 5km from Paphos, and 3km up the hill from the coast. The house is in the north west corner of the village, below the town square. Stylianos Leonidas is left off the road that runs up the hill from the village of Kissonerga. Several airlines fly to Paphos and Jet2.com has announced a new route from Paphos to Glasgow, bringing the number of routes from Cyprus to the UK up to seven. The new route to Glasgow began operating on 3rd April on a twice weekly basis, Wednesdays and Sundays. This follows their recent introduction of new flights from both Larnaca and Paphos to Manchester. We always advise to check first and seasonal changes often apply.
