Entrance hallway leads to a comfortable lounge seating ten people plus floor cushions.
This room has underfloor heating and an open fireplace to burn logs of an evening and toast your toes.
French doors lead to a lovely sitting area that catches the morning sun.
The music/art room has underfloor heating and seats approximately five and contains a baby grand piano, harmonium, electric & acoustic guitars, conga drums, keyboard, amps, percussion, art equipment, C.D.'s, books etc.
A large kitchen with adjoining dining room with large table seating up to 12, and access to an outside eating area that catches the evening sun.
First Floor
Double.Overlooking the hills, this delightful white bedroom with en suite shower room.
Cosy room with small double bed Overlooking the hills.
Double blue room with optional singl. Overlooking lake and hills.
Double. With toilet and wash hand basin.

A further two fold-up beds are available. Also travel cot.
Ground floor bedroom has 4 single beds, two can form a double with adjacent shower room with WC.

Large lawned area for five-a-side footy. Conservatory. Ponds. Wildlife garden and a low ropes course constructed in a lovely wooded area of rear garden. A quirky outdoor bath is being prepared for summer 2012.

Bedding and towels are provided except in the case of some special offers.
We welcome responsible pet owners. Please keep pets on a lead. Pets are not allowed upstairs and you must provide your own basket and blanket so that pets do not go onto seating.

You may arrive after 16.30 and need to vacate by 10.00 a.m. on departure day, unless otherwise agreed.
Please be aware there is a small pond.
Tyn Y Berth is set back 50 yds from the road and has two drives.
There are no gates at the entrance.
Stone/slate walls are a feature of the area. For safety sake please don't allow children to play on or near walls.
Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel your booking giving three months notice. Likewise you can cancel your booking giving three months notice. Less than three months' notice of cancellation period from you, your deposit is refundable if we can re-let to someone else and we will always do our best.
If we cannot re-let then you will be responsible for the whole amount.
Your damage deposit is £150.

Tyn Y Berth Hall was built in 1856 in the foothills of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia National Park, two minutes ride from the exquisite Tal Y Llyn Lake.
In an area famed for it’s beauty and close to the Green Dyfi valley and the Centre for Alternative Technology it offers groups and families the ideal centre for exploring Snowdonia, Aberdyfi, West Wales and the mountains of Mid Wales from a comfortable, big house.

The area around the Hall is full of wonderful and interesting places to visit.
Through the back gate of the Hall are walks into the hills and a wonderful sledging hill.
Nearby the Centre for Alternative Technology, King Arthur's Labyrinth, Corris Craft Centre, Corris Railway,
Tal y Llyn Lake and railway. Cadair Idris, Dolgoch Falls.
Machynlleth has the Museum of Modern Art, Leisure Centre.
Aberdyfi 15 miles. R.S.P.B. 8 miles.

Tyn y Berth Hall is on the A487, midway between the market towns of Dolgellau and Machynlleth, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

"Dream House"
"I stayed here for a week in June 08 along with my partner son and a family of 5 friends.
It was a complete success,we loved the house and the fact that it appeared that the family had moved out and left us to look after their precious house,it was just so personal and special and made us feel completely at home.The bedrooms were all lovely and everything perfectly clean. We had a fire burning in the lounge every evening and the music room and dressing up box kept us amused for hours.
