"See you next year!"

Totally agree with other reviewer... the bungalow is like a tardis! Every room is spacious and comfortable and well looked after just like the house (we stayed in the house in 2011). The Bungalow isn't as modern as the house but in some ways is a better layout especially if you have dogs as if they spend the night in the kitchen they're not above your head in the morning running around when the sun comes up. The garden is also a bit better than the house for the same reason and maybe for families as there is no pond in the bungalow garden. Would highly recommend to anyone either the house or the bungalow. The beach is amazing as well and is close to alot of local attractions for touring Snowdonia and even the Llyn Peninsula.

Hey guys, thanks for the great review but unfortunately you didn't stay at this property. This is our cottage, there is no adjoining house next door, the cottage is single story, there is no pond !!! You stayed with us at our other beach front locations - not to worry, your review has been posted against the wrong account. You are welcome to holiday with us any time - perhaps you might like to stay at this beautiful cottage in the future. Take care, Steph & Lyndon

"Great cottage that works well for a large family."

We arrived on an extremely rainy day after a long drive and we were immediately pleased with the cottage. The outside of the building does not give credit to the inside, it is fairly spacious, very functional but also welcoming and with lots of character. A good sized, well equiped kitchen that comfortably sat our family of 6, which includes 4 children aged 6 to 13. The lounge area is lovely with a fab inglenook fireplace and all 3 bedrooms work well. My only criticism is the location of the bathroom and toilet being off the kitchen at the other end of the cottage to the bedrooms. We didn't get to use the garden much because of the weather but I can imagine it is lovely in the summer. The 'games' room (which is in the garden) was a great idea and the whole family made use of it. As a location it is fairly remote so a car is an essential. There are some great places to visit within a short drive and there is lots of information available in the cottage to enable you to plan your stay. There is a small supermarket 2 miles away and larger facilities available in the larger towns not far away. All in all a good holiday let which I would be happy to recommend.

"Beautiful cottage, peaceful location - can't wait to return!"

Really enjoyed our family stay at the cottage, plenty of room for us, a room for grandparents and another for the children. The welcome drinks were a very pleasant gift awaiting us! Wasn't sure about booking at first as there were no reviews but the reviews are in the guest book at the cottage. The cottage was clean and spacious. The boys really enjoyed the outdoors areas and the games room was used daily ( and for many hours) by all the 'boys' in the cottage - fabulous! A car is necessary - but the peace and quiet and beautiful location more than make up for that. Loads of things to do right on the doorstep- Caernafon, the castle, crabbing, several beaches, supermarkets (and much more) are all within a short drive. Lovely, busy yet relaxing break.
