Taghazout Roof House is situated in the home of Moroccan surfing, right here in Taghazout.

Located just a few minutes by walk from the beaches and surf spots of Taghazout, the Roof House offers comfortable and clean accommodation with a warm local feeling and atmosphere. Panoramas beach can be seen from one of two terraces and with the world famous Anchor Point just a 15 minute walk you have surfing for all abilities.

Taghazout is located in the South of Morocco, only 30 minutes from the city of Agadir and 45 minutes from the airport, making this an ideal spot for the avid surfer.

Taghazout though has much more to offer than just surfing. A wide selection of beaches and some stunning coastline are enough to keep one's interest but if you need more, then why not try one of the range of activities on offer here, from quad biking to horse riding, camel treks to a trip into the craziness of Agadir Souk.

All of the activities we are able to help arrange, including surfboard/wetsuit hire and lessons if needed. Also we offer the chance to take a number of excursions from a single day trip or a full safari, heading down into the wilderness, searching for empty surf spots, or into the desert to spend the nights under nothing but the beauty of the stars.

The Roof Hostel, is set in a quiet spot in Taghazout. Accommodation is found in the way of 3 dorm rooms with spacious bunk beds and one private double room. All the rooms are light and have large windows looking out to sea.

The communal areas of the Roof House offer lots of room to relax after a full day. With two areas of sofas to laze on, plus a delightful roof terrace with room for everyone to enjoy the warm African evenings and nights. If you fancy some competition in the evening and still have some energy then why not take your turn on the table tennis. Or join us for a BBQ and dance to your favourite tunes under the night sky.

Whatever it is you desire, then we will do our best to deliver, the rest we'll let Taghazout and the magic of this colurful and vibrant culture and country do.

The Agadir region

Taghazout is a small surf village situated 20 km/ 12 miles outside of Agadir. It is a surfer and fisherman's haven with plenty of coastline to satisfy both. Taghazout is a quaint village, much smaller than the surrounding villages and cities. There are dozens of oceanside cafes and restaurants to enjoy the endless Moroccan sun and surf. Each Wednesday is the local market in the main square where you can buy anything from spices to shoes.

In a half hour drive you can get to Paradise Valley and take a 20 minute hike through a real paradise to the two main pools. Cliff jumping, swimming and sun bathing are among a few things to do in this beautiful place. Agadir is a nearby coastal city which has a lot to offer and is also the closest place to purchase alcohol from Taghazout. There are several other villages to travel to and surf or sightsee alike.

"Best place in Taghazout"

The owner, Jamal, is super friendly and makes you feel welcome.
Located 2 mins walk from the nearest surf break its a pretty ideal location.
Breakfast is great and included in the price, what more could you want?
