Surfari camp are located in the heart of Taghazout, a small traditional fishing village with a big reputation.

Just 17 Km from Agadir and a few hours from Marrakech, Taghazout is easily accessible and has something for everyone. Escape the hustle and bustle of the big cities and come and relax in this vibrant and colourful location.

Apartment 2 on the third floor offers a good sized open plan living space. With a double bed and two sofa beds it sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. Sit and relax in the privacy of your own apartment, complete with private shower room and kitchenette. Want to enjoy the warmth of the African sun, then step out onto your personal balcony, or pop upstairs to our communal roof terrace to meet others and enjoy the view.

With a relaxed vibe still remaining from the early hippies who use to frequent the beaches and hills, you will find Taghazout to be a warm and friendly place. Now the hippies may be less but they have been replaced with an abundance of surfers, from young to old, from amateur to the top of the pro's, with names like Kelly Slater, Jeremy Flores and even Ben Harper stopping to experience the fantastic range of surf spots.

From our apartments, many of these spots are easily available by walk. Morocco's most famous is Anchor point, which can be viewed from our wonderful roof terrace and is just a 15 minute stroll away. If you want to explore further then let us arrange a car for you and within 10 minutes North or South, you can discover a multitude of locations free of crowds and suitable for all levels.

If surfing is not your thing, fear not, take a stroll along the beaches and enjoy the African warmth, or head into the hills behind Taghazout to gain a birds eye view of this magnificent stretch of coastline. If you'd like to let someone else do all the leg work, why not spend an afternoon exploring all of the sights, sat astride a fine Arabic horse, or travel like a local Berber and take this opportunity to ride a camel through the hills, or along the beach as the sun sets.

What ever it is, Taghazout has plenty to offer.

Here at Anchor's, we do our best to accommodate your needs, be it hiring surfboards or arranging lessons to providing local knowledge and advice. Feel free to ask us questions or just come past enjoy a coffee and have a chat.
