PENTHOUSE is served with lift and is situated in a quite residential area, yet minutes away from the Yacht Marina, beaches, restaurants, bars e.t.c. Supermarket, pharmacy, green grocer e.t.c are all round the corner. Is situated on a bus route and in ten minutes you can get to either Valletta or St. Julians/Paceville. The large front terrace is definitely the selling point. Professional BBQ set and ample tables and chairs to be able to eat al fresco. Sun beds, shower, hammock, music e.t.c. all make this an ideal place for relaxation, both during the day and at night. Ideal for those romantic getaways, parents with children or group of adults wanting to have fun.

The Island of Malta region

Malta is an Island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, just a few kilometers away from Sicily. Our warm climate, hospitality, multi lingual culture and history are our strong points. Night life in Paceville is well renowned. Very low crime rate makes it suitable for all ages including children. It is only 17 miles long and 9 miles wide, so getting around is very easy.

Ta' Xbiex

Ta' Xbiex is the primary location for Malta's largest Yacht Marina. Although being a residential area it is meters away from Restaurants, Bars e.t.c. It is practically between the capital city of Malta, Valletta and the night life area of Paceville. They are both just ten minutes away by car. We are surrounded by three parish churches and in Summer they celebrate their patron saints anniversary. Food stores, bands and fireworks are a joy to watch. All amenities are within walking distance and so is the seafront promenade.

"Perfect spot with the best terasse !"

"A nice place to stay and just out of the way not to be a tourist hot spot"

This was my first trip booking an apartment so I was naturally dubious. But it all worked out fine. I booked via they are just the web agent. Once you've booked with them all transactions are done with the owner of the property.
Bus travel is really easy and cheap you can pick up a 7 day pass for around 8 Euros or a day ticket for 2 Euros and the buses run up to 2330hrs and have A/C .So you could get the bus from the Airport, a taxi from the airport would cost around 20 Euros We hired a car which helps to get you up and down the Island via it only cost £56 with the car insurance waiver of £35 which was found to be cheaper than all other web site bookings. It's best to get the waiver as most cars over in Malta seem to have a fair share of bumps on them. The people in Malta are really friendly and speak very good English and are very willing to help.
We had a good wi/fi connection at the apartment if you're thinking of taking a tablet/laptop. Top tip the Electricity is pay as you go so don't leave any unwanted electrics on when you're out. The A/C uses the most and the Electric charge between June and August is high so be prepared to spend around 40 Euros for a week's power.
All shops generally open around 9am til 12am and re open 4pm till 7pm apart from the big super markets and tourist shops. So if you want your basics from the local shop make sure you time it right lol.
Eating out is about the same price as at home. All the sandy beaches are to the north everywhere else is rocky platforms which is where the hire car comes in handy to come and go as you please. Walking into Sliema takes approx 20 minuets it's a nice walk with a promenade that takes you all the way round to Saint Julian. Be prepared for the boat trip sales teams, dotted along the walk. There not pushy but it can be a bit tedious after a while. There is a good harbor taxi/ ferry service in Sliema which will take you to Valleta.for a couple of Euros.
To pronounce Ta' Xbiex is Tash Besh the X's are sounded as sh.
