If you care to venture a little further around Sicily than Syracuse, visit the beautiful city of Taormina (beloved of D H Lawrence and many other English writers and artists), the ceramics of Caltagirone, the villa at Casale di Piazza Armerina, the baroque splendours of Modica and Ragusa (where you should try the famous cuisine), the nightlife of Catania, the splendid landscape around Alcantara and, of course, the awe-inspiring heights and lave-flows of Mt Etna. Finally, the nearby coastline offers many wonderful opportunities for sea bathing in a warm and crystal-clear sea.

The apartment is on the first floor. It is about 70 m² and it is composed of a large and sunny living room with a double bed-sofa (160 x 200 cm) and a folding bed (80 x 190 cm), a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a single bed (90 x 200 cm), a fully equipped kitchen (with refrigerator, freezer, gas stoves, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, etc..) and a bathroom with shower.
The apartment was recently renovated. It is very clean, nicely furnished and fully equipped (satellite television, DVD, CD player, WI-FI connection, safe, air conditioning, heating, washing machine, iron, ironing board, hair dryer,...). The apartment is very comfortable for 4 people, but it can accommodate up to 6 people.

Further details outdoors:
Very close to the apartment there are restaurants, pizzerie, bars, gelaterie, grocery markets, a self laundry and other facilities. The bus stop is 50 metres away and 150 metres away there is the open air market. A free car parking is available 200 metre away but usually you don't need it because in the street where the apartment is located it is possible to park the car.
