Home descriptionCabin by Ikornnes - Sykkylven, approx. 30 min. from Ålesund. This cosy log cabin built in 1945 is nicely located only 10 metres from sea. It was added to in 2005. The old part of the cabin has yet been kept in the traditional style. "Stavehytte" consists of a small kitchen, a living room with fireplace, dining table for 8 persons and seat arrangement for 6 persons. Bathroom with shower and toilet. 2 double bedrooms (2,2) and a small single room. There are also beds for 2 persons on a loft. The outdoor area is rather flat which makes it suitable for ball games etc. Outdoor furniture can be brought along to be used by the sea or on the terrace. Car park is found approx. 70 metres from the cabin. A 14F rowing boat is included in the price - we invite you to try the angling possibilities. In summer you can catch mackerel or try trolling for salmon in the fjord or use the pool - only 2 km from the house. Other activities are: salmon fishing in the shortest salmon river in the world, "Straumen", and try skiing in the "Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena" ski centre.
