About the home

A day in the life....

Wake up and have a fabulous breakfast on the deck overlooking the northern beaches all the way to the city of Sydney. Enjoy the privacy, then take a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the beach, enjoy a surf or ocean pool swim, followed by a morning coffee at the local cafes.

A bush walk in the Garrigal National Park nearby, including the magnificent West Head views of Barrenjoey light house, followed by a BBQ for lunch on the front deck closes the morning. An afternoon book & nap on the lounge couch taking in the view, followed by entertaining in the late afternoon and into the evening. Watch the fairy lights of the Northern beaches roll out into the night.

Large children's blow up pool available upon request. Portable Cot, Highchair & pram available upon request.

Please note the bedroom / sleeping arrangements are over 3 bedrooms and a TV room - 1 master (queen-sized bed), 1 Double room – double sofa bed, 1 Kid style bedroom with 1 single bed, and Queen size sofa bed in TV room.

The balcony is a great entertaining space, or fabulous for private romantic evenings. The trampoline in the courtyard is super safe (netted walls) and great for kids.

As you can see from the photos, the floors are a beautiful polished native Australian hardwood - we ask that you enjoy this and preserve its beauty with your barefoot or rubber soled shoes.

Driveway is shared with downstairs apartment.

The peninsula section of the Northern Beaches is it's own destination - providing great activities, shopping restaurants, picnic areas

The Northern Beaches of Sydney are the quintessential Australian beaches. Enjoy all that Sydney has to offer from this area including National Park bush walks, Kayaking on the inland waterways of Pittwater, sailing, surfing the white sandy beaches, swimming in the azure ocean pools.

Great golf courses adorn the coast from Long Reef to Palm Beach with spectacular views. Try diving on ship wrecks off Palm beach, or fishing for whiting & bream. Barrenjoey lighthouse is a fabulous walk through history, and the views from Westhead will take your breath away.

From Sydney Airport, Newport Beach (Northern Beaches) is just 50 minutes drive north.

Car hire is available from Sydney Airport, or with budget car hire from a pick up in the city of Sydney - just a 15 taxi fare away from Sydney Airport.

Shuttle buses run to the Northern Beaches and prove economical for 1 or 2 passengers. We suggest that a taxi bus is your best option for more passengers, if not hiring a car.

There are always local taxis available - fare should be no more than 30-40 pounds.
