This fully self contained clean and tidy beach house 150mtrs from beach is a real escape haven....Relax and unwind to enjoy the fabulous seaside atmosphere of this beach house. There is something to keep the whole family happy, from the open plan living, to the larger than average back yard for the kids. Maybe you just want to relax and listen to the waves, on large deck off the sun room with outdoor setting and barbecue area.
Driving down Bulli Pass-a breathtaking view will surprise you. Located one hour south of Sydney, New South Wales is tucked away between the escarpment and the Pacific Ocean. On top of the escarpment are Scenic Reserves and Rainforests with Spectacular Lookouts with many walking tracks, picnic facilities and playgrounds. A superb panorama of rainforest and deep blue ocean with golden coastlines stretching out below can be seen.
A beautiful natural environment with lots of native flora and fauna. Just one hour away from Sydney's major tourist attractons: The Opera House, Sydney Harbour, Toronga Zoo, Great Botanical Gardens,Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, plus major shopping centres, museums, galleries,and markets. A popular location for everyone! So much to do and see but more to enjoy.

We have over 40 kilometres of clean unspoilt coastline with rich rainforests, bushlands, waterfalls, on a spectacular escarpment. A population of approx. 200,000 people Wollongong acts as a gateway to South Coast and Illawarra of N.S.W.
The climate suits a variety of holiday makers. Within kilometres is our newest icon The Seacliff Bridge. This unique bridge literally snakes its way around the coastal cliffline over the ocean. If you want you may walk over the bridge to enjoy the spectacular coastal views. If you look up from this bridge you will look up to Bald Hill at Stanwell Tops, (which also has an amazing view)and you will see the hanggliders throwing themselves into the sky and landing down on the beach below.
Nearby is Symbio Wildlife Sanctuary which is a must for the whole family or you may travel further to Sydney's Royal National Park for a spot of fishing/canoeing/ swimming or picnic whatever takes your fancy.
Travelling south from Corrimal will be a memorable experience, visiting beautiful Kiama with its rolling green hills of Jamberoo and world renowned 'Blowhole', with many seaside boutique's and terrace shops

Guestbook for Thalassa Beach House
We really enjoyed our stay, loved the fluffy towels and had an enjoyable time playing the board games provided for us. The freshly made coffee was also a real treat and the extra provisions provided helped me cook up a great meal. The beach and white sandy shores gave us some much needed exercise while taking our dog for a run on the leash free area's. Thalassa Cottage was the first beach holiday house I've ever rented and was definitely pleased with it! Even though we were told to come 3:00pm, we came a bit earlier and bumped into the owner who was vacuuming the house for us. She was very kind and was not annoyed a bit that we racked in a bit early. Corrimal, the place where this beach cottage is located at, was indeed a very nice area! The local people were very friendly and very easy going, something which you are not used to when living in Sydney. It was not too far to walk from the station to the place we were staying at and it was definitely easy to walk from the house to the beach. The beach was quite secluded and clean. Also enjoyed the Spiderman 3 and Dodgeball movies which was provided for us to watch! But what made it a very enjoyable trip for was the fact that this house was affordable!!! Rating: 5 out of 5 We stayed at Thalassa Beach Cottage while attending a wedding. Location was fantastic (early morning walks on beach and swims), property was very clean and comfortable. My mother said it was the nicest of it's type she'd ever stayed in :-)
