Home description
Gorgeous retreat with magical views of the ocean from your balcony, nestled at the end of Manly beach. No roads to cross - just grab a towel and take the two minute stroll to the famous Manly beach. Or, if you prefer, meander along the beautiful Shelly beach walkway taking a swim in the rock pool and ending up on the secluded Shelly Beach. Everything is here for the perfect holiday or executive stay. Cafes and restaurants are close by, as is Manly Wharf from which you can catch a ferry to explore Sydney. For the executive, jetcats from the Wharf take just 15 minutes into the city. The apartment is beautifully furnished with two bedrooms (one queen bed and two singles). The two singles can be pushed together with bedding for a couple if requested. The apartment is fully furnished with everything you need and we have tried to provide a 'home from home' - DVD's for a rainy day, and some good books to read while you relax on your balcony.

All the best Sydney tourist attractions are within 30 minutes of Manly - the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour and Taronga Zoo. The ferry ride from Manly to Circular Quay is a pleasure, including the spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as the ferry enters Sydney Harbour. Travelling north from Manly up to Palm Beach you will find gorgeous beach after gorgeous beach, each with their own personality. Enjoy a bite to eat in Avalon or Palm Beach and meander around the shops.

The apartment is situated in the most exclusive part of Manly, known as Fairy Bower. At the southern tip of Manly beach the Shelly Beach walkway hugs the coastal strip and is a beautiful stroll around to Shelly Beach. The apartment enjoys magnificent views of both Manly and Shelly Beaches.
Enjoy a refreshing dip in the rock-pool or a bar-b-que (bar-b-ques provided) on Shelly Beach. For little ones the gentle waves at Shelly are perfect and bigger people can go snorkeling or scuba diving.
Manly beach goers can enjoy surfing lessons and volleyball, or hire a bike and cycle along the foreshore.
Coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets and delis are plentiful and there is something for everyone. Plenty of nightlife too for the more adventurous. Manly also has a cinema.

How to get there
+ 40 minutes from Sydney International or Domestic airports by car or taxi. Approximate taxi fare is $80. + Regular trains from Sydney airport to Circular Quay (Opera House/Harbour Bridge) and then take a ferry or jetcat (maximum 30 minutes) to Manly Wharf. 10 minute walk (or taxi) from Manly Wharf to the apartment . + Car hire companies at Sydney airport include Budget, Avis and Hertz.
