SAND-ON BULLI BEACH offers relaxed sea-side living with Queen beds in 2 bedrooms, a third bedroom with 2 single beds and a comfortable double sofabed in the lounge room. The lounge room and bedrooms overlook your tranquil and PRIVATE BAMBOO GARDEN and BARBECUE area. Relax while the kids enjoy a swim in your PRIVATE POOL - there's no need to move as the out door barbecue area, overlooks the pool. Just 100 metres away is Australia's wonderful PACIFIC OCEAN - so take a dip in the sea or the pool, it's up to you!
If you are planning a GROUP HOLIDAY, we have adjoining properties that can ACCOMMODATE up to 10 MORE PEOPLE - that's accommodation for a total of 18 people at our BEACH-SIDE location.
WHAT OUR GUESTS HAVE TO SAY: We would like to thank you again for the great accommodation. We really enjoyed our 8 nights at 'Sand on Bulli Beach'.
As a family of 5 (2 teens and a 10 year old) it was for most of us, our first time to Australia and with only 8 nights - we needed a place that was fast and easy to get to from the Sydney airport. 'Sand on Bulli Beach' was easy to find on arriving in Bulli by car. The accommodation was clean and well equipped for our needs (with a family of five) and the rooms were spacious enough for everyone to relax. My husband has mold and dust allergies and did not have allergy problems. We were in a quiet little neighbourhood in Bulli with an easy, short walk to a stunningly beautiful sandy beach that extends for miles in both directions. The Beach had great waves and we even tried surfing with the aid of a very helpful lifeguard, but we were not overwhelmed by the ocean and felt safe "swimming between the flags". When the weather was too windy on the beach, having our own pool made our autumn holiday still warm and sunny. The landscaping around the accommodation is well kept and interesting, I especially loved our bedroom window looking out to the palm tree grove and waking to the birds singing away. There was a little ice cream store half a block away but we used our car to get groceries. We loved having our seafood dinners outside in the "palm grove".
We loved Bulli and the surrounding district with the many sights to see and the friendly people. Every morning and evening, we walked along the beach to see the sunrise and sunset, and were surprised at how many people were up and enjoying all the surfing, fishing, biking, walking and running that this area has to offer (although it was not crowded by any means). It was very easy to get to Sydney by train although there was enough to see around Bulli and Wollongong that we could easily have been kept busy with just local sights. We drove by car to Mt Keira lookout to get a birds eye view of the area, and also through the Royal National Park, everything is so wonderfully different from our home in Canada. We also drove to the Symbio Zoo, where we were thrilled to pet the young kangaroos. We found plenty of shops in Wollongong to keep the teens happy. 'Sand on Bulli Beach' was fabulously located for enjoying the attractions of Bulli, and convenient to get to Sydney or Wollongong by road (or on the train if you don't feel like driving). All in all it was a great little beach place to unwind ("no worries") and hope to be back very soon.

Begin exploring our famous beaches just 100 metres from your accommodation.
The train trip from Circular Quay to your accommodation is a 'must do'. The train line hugs the coastline, with views of unspoilt beaches, and coastala villages. The drive is just as spectacular! Take the coastal route through the worlds second oldest National Park. On the way visit eco-tourist wildlife Park Symbio where native animals roam free to touch and feed yourself. South of the national park is internationally famous Bald Hill, where hanggliders launch themselves hundreds of metres over the ocean.
Within a couple of kilometres is our newest icon THE SEA CLIFF BRIDGE. The unique bridge literally snakes its way around the coastal cliff line over the ocean. Get out and walk the bridge for spoectacular coastal views. Once over the bridge you can stop in any of the quaint coastal villages before reaching your accommodation at Bulli.
