Situated in a particularly quiet part of Sydney right on the edge of a National Park is the suburb of Seaforth. This suburb is one of Sydney's best kept secrets. (shhhhhh Don't tell anyone - we want to keep it this way!). This stunning home is walking distance to Manly Dam and a public golf course with 5 star tennis courts. There are numerous walks through the national park with tracks for mountain biking. Once you get in the car you are only 15-20 minutes drive from at least 15 beaches. Some are surf beaches and the others a more tranquil harbour beach, but all are stunning! Middle Harbour yacht club is only 5 minutes drive away where boats and kayaks can be chartered. Manly is the most well known local beach and it is here that you will find an array of world class restaurants, shops and bars. Manly has a ferry which takes you directly in to the city and is only a 30 minute trip. This is a must for any visitor to Sydney as it is one of the icons of the city - The Manly Ferry.
Nestled amongst palm trees and gum trees and yet only 5 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop. The house itself has 5 bedrooms and a study. The ground floor kitchen and living areas are open plan with bi fold doors that open at each end to totally open up the house. There is a deck with seating area out the front of the house with a view through the trees to Manly. The back of the house has its own large totally closed off private garden with swing set, seating and bbq area. This is the prefect home for one or more families who like to entertain.
The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and walk in robe. Also upstairs are three other bedrooms (Double x 1 Single x 2) with a shared bath/shower room. Downstairs has a King size room with a shower room. The Study Room has french doors which open out on to the deck. There is a laundry with front load washing machine and dryer. The only noises you will hear here are crickets, kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets, cockatoos and possibly the odd possum running over the roof!
If you are a large party there are a couple of other houses next door who can accommodate more people.

Nominated by Tourism Sydney as an "Undiscovered Treasure", Sydney's Northern Beaches precinct stretches from Manly to Palm Beach with the famous Manly Beach at its starting point. The World famous landmarks of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Taronga Zoo and so much more are all within 30 minutes drive.
Sydney / Manly area
The property is situated in Seaforth, close to the well-known beaches of Manly. Manly is only 15 minutes drive away, or if you prefer there is a bus at the end of the road which will take you to Manly Wharf for free. If you go North you will come to the beaches of Narabeen, Dee Why and about 30 minutes away is the exclusive beach of Palm Beach where you often see famous holidaymakers like Nicole Kidman and this is also where they film Home and Away! Only 1 1/2 hours drive North is the wine growing region of the Hunter Valley. Heading west is the Blue Mountains with breathtaking views and attractions. The city is only 30 minutes away either driving or by ferry. Here you can visit the Sydney Aquarium, Maritime Museaum, Australian Museum, Powerhouse Museum. For something adventurous climb the Harbour Bridge, take the jet boat ride on the harbour (Not for the faint hearted!!), walk one of numerous walks along the waterfront of the Harbour - The Spit to Manly walk is a must while you are staying. It takes around 2 hours but is worth every step for the views - Take your cossie so that you can enjoy a dip in one of many beaches you will pass.
How to get there
There are numerous flights from the UK to Sydney. Once you get here a recommended car hire company is Bayswater Car Hire in Kings Cross. They are by far the cheapest and most reliable.
