Enjoy the tranquility of a vacation by the sea while still being in close proximity to shopping facilities and the lively and ever popular 'Cafe' and Restaurant Society' of Coogee Beach.

'Coogee by the Sea' is a short stroll to the famous Coogee Beach and is surrounded by 3 salt water swimming pools. It is also positioned right on the popular ocean walkways that will take you to other beaches such as Bronte, Tamarama, Clovelly and Bondi Beach all with thier own fabulous cafes.

Coogee is the perfect holiday retreat. somewhere to literally unwind, really relax, enjoy the sun and get healthy. It's all good food, sun, surf, swimming, walking, reading with that invigorating salt air.

Master bedroom overlooks Pacific Ocean and has king size bed and the second bedroom has queen size bed. Third bedroom has queen size bed and study and dressing area.Gas heating in winter and ceiling fans for all year round comfort.

Main bathroom has a spa bath with shower and complete laundry facilities. Second bathroom has shower toilet and vanity area. Large BBQ area at rear of property available upon request.
Internet /Wireless connection.

Close to 3 salt water swimming pools. (1 olympic size) and extensive Ocean Walkways. Great for walking, swimming and getting fit. Safe play areas at Coogee beach for small children by the Surf Club, and a wonderful new play area at the park adjacent to the beach. Fitmess hill nest to property for those who want more serious exercise.

Further details

To secure your booking a deposit of 25% - 50% of the Tariff is requested with the balance 50% due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
If you have children under 15 years of age a further refundable security deposit of GBP250.00 is requested. Unless there is significant damage to the property, this security deposit will be gladly refunded to you within 2 weeks of your departure date.

Conditions

No pets please and smoking not permitted inside the beach house.

The New South Wales region

The beachhouse is full of books and brochures on what to do in and around Sydney. Some of the most popular day trips are to the Blue Mountains, the Northern Beaches including Manly Beach by ferry , Darling Harbour and overnight stays in the Wineries. Just too many attractions to mention really.

Weather: From September until June each year, Sydney 's wealther is generally beautiful. Hottest period is in January and February - temperature can rise to over 30 degrees celsius. Coolest months July and August with temeratures around 10 - 20 degrees celsius.

The Sydney / Coogee Beach area

Forget Bondi, Coogee Beach is Sydney's 'Best Kept Secret'. The beach is famous for its beautiful pale yellow sand and glistening blue ocean. The beach is very safe for swimming and is patrolled by life savers.

There are a 101 places for excellent coffee, drinks, snacks and memorable dinners. Coogee is also in walking distance to other famous beaches such as Bronte, Clovelly, Tamarama and Bondi Beach that all boast their own fabulous caffes and restaurants. There are also lots of activities that will help work off all the food, wine and beer.

Coogee Beach is 15-20 minutes by taxi or car from Sydney Airport. The property is perched on the southern headland, right on the coast. Public transort such as taxis, buses and trains are plentiful, affordable and reliable.

You can also get good deals on flights within Australia through Jetstar and Virgin Airlines. Although you will probably prefer to just laze around the beautiful Sydney beaches instead.

“Excellent rental property” Loved our stay at the apartment. Fantastic sea views and within walking distance of local amenities. Quiet area with car parking available. All our needs catered for. Linda was lovely and very helpful when needed. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to Sydney. Very tranquil setting and amazing suntrap.

“A paradise in Coogee” This has to be one of the finest holiday rentals we have stay in - just felt like being at home. Everything supplied including wi fi and even a phone for local calls. The house was spotless - everything we needed was supplied. The only noise at night and in the early morning was the sound of the sea. From the balcony we spied whales in the distance a real bonus. Thank you again Linda & Charles for a wonderful holiday.

“A lovely property in a beautiful location” We loved our stay here. The house is very comfortable with everything you could need and being able to sit out on the terrace and look out to sea made for a very relaxing start to our holiday. The new bedroom and dressing room allowed our daughter her own `space' which she really enjoyed and the rest of the house is equally well equipped. Its a short walk down to the beach front and then a 30 minute bus ride into the city centre.
