You can while away your days exploring Manly and the beaches to the north. Play tourist in the city or take a day trip to the Blue Mountains or central coast. The apartment is fully self-contained, with modern kitchen, laundry facilities and entertainment systems - so your holiday remains as flexible as possible, after all the most important decision on any holiday should be "what will we eat?"

The Sydney / Manly area

Situated at the southern end of Manly Beach is the secluded Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve, the most desirable part of Manly "The Manly Riviera." Known to the locals as Shelly Beach and Fairy Bower, here you'll find Manly Beach Retreat, some 30m from the waters edge, accessible by road and ocean promenade winding around from Manly Beach.

Shelly's delicate sand beach is framed by green grass, a grove of Cabbage Tree palms and some picnic tables, and is Manly's most picturesque beach. The waters here are perfect for swimming, diving and snorkelling with a range of reef and wrecks within a short swim of the beach.

The local sea pool is barely 100m from your door and perfect for some laps in the morning or a refreshing cool down during the day. The Bower restaurant, on the corner of Bower Lane, is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and coffee is a speciality. While around at Shelly Beach, Le Kiosk is available for lunch and dinner with style.
