On the foreshore of Vaucluse, Vaucluse Beach, although scenic, historical and quiet, is not as good for swimming as the neighbouring Shark Beach or Parsley Bay. It is best to walk across the road to the Vaucluse Park with its Vaucluse House mansion, stone bridges over picturesque channels and abundance of palm groves and flowerbeds
