Chalet Sam Suphy is possibly the best located chalet in Morgins, just 1 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and bars, yet you can ski to the lift and back to the door. It is a traditional chalet with red shutters, and still retains the original external staircase (although no longer needed)
With 2 double bedrooms and a third linked bedroom with 3 single beds, it can sleep 7 people. Downstairs is a double bedroom, shower room, cosy lounge with cable TV and over 120 DVDs to chose from. The kitchen diner is well equipped, with microwave, oven, slow cooker, fondu set etc. Upstairs is a larger double bedroom with king size bed, with a triple bedroom leading off, plus a bathroom with shower.

The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
Morgins is situated in the Swiss Alps, south of Lake Geneva, and right on the border with France. In winter, it has an excellent snow record, yet the summers are warm, with swimming and water sports closeby.. Morgins is in the centre of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, the largest linked area in the worls with 650km of skiing covering 12 villages and 2 countries.
Only 20 minutes to to Lake Geneva with lovely towns such as Montreux and Vevey on the North shore and Evian on the South shore.
Swiss Portes du Soleil / Morgins area
Morgins is one of the best kept secrets of the Portes du Soleil, only 80 minutes from Geneva, with direct access to the world’s largest linked ski area, with 650km of pistes.
A traditional attractive Swiss village, Morgins still retains its small and friendly atmosphere with local farming traditions, yet has good quality restaurants, several bars and shops, plus plenty of non-ski and summer activities. The mountains are spectacular in the summer, full of flowers and the gentle sound of cow bells. There is an incredible range of things to do in the summer - something for everyone, not just activity addicts – you can be as active or chilled out as you like!
How to get there
Morgins is an easy 80 minute drive from Geneva airport, you can either hire a car , get a train from the airport terminal to Aigle, and then a taxi, or we can organize a minibus transfer for you (Cost approx ₤400.00 return).
You can also fly to Bern, about 90 minute drive, but getting car hire or transfers is not as easy as Geneva, so we advise you try and book your car before your flights.

Further details outdoors: Sam Suphy is located at the end of a quiet lane on the riverbank, it has a garden to one side, with a dining table and gas barbecue for the summer.
You have direct access to both the mountain and river for walking in summer, and are just metres from the piste for skiing.
In summer you can hear the cowbells, plus all year you have the famous Bells of Peace ringing.

Rentals run Sunday to Sunday during the ski season.
Rentals include tourist tax, final clean, linen and towels, plus a welcome basket is provided on arrival.

Catering can be arranged, plus many activities booked, including ski lessons, paragliding ski guiding etc.
