A charming Swiss chalet located right in the heart of Champery, just a 300m walk from the cable car departure and close to all restaurants and amenities. The chalet is built on 3 floors. The middle floor has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, fridge, toaster and coffee machine, a cosy lounge with a sofa and an armchair.

It is equipped with cable TV, DVD player and stereo and a shower room with toilets.The top floor is a romantic double bedroom and balcony with views on the Dents du Midi.The bottom floor is a lovely twin bedroom with French windows giving a wonderful view of the Swiss alps.The chalet also has a private car park.

Swiss Portes du Soleil / Champery area

The village Champéry (Valais) is situated on 1050 meters / 3445 feet on the feet of the Dents du Midi and the Dents Blanches. Champéry is one of the oldest tourist destinations in Switzerland. The history goes back to 1857. In this year the first hotel "L'hôtel de la Dent-du-Midi" opened.

Today you can still admire the well preserved, traditional architecture of the village. Along the main street you will find many chalets with carved balconies and the "toits en sifflet", the traditional roofs. This street charms its visitors with the small shops, bars, terraces and restaurants.

There are many events during the summer in Champéry, to show the love to the traditions and handicraft. The visitors are invited to see the local dances shown by the local club on different events. Discover also the 800km / 497miles of marked paths for all enthusiasts of walks and mountain bike.

During the winter the cable car Champéry - Planachaux and the modern chairlift Grand-Paradis take you in less than 5 minutes directly into the Portes du Soleil. The Portes du Soleil are the largest internationally linked ski area of the world. Over 650km / 400miles of pistes make the skiers' and boarders' hearts beat faster. Moreover the Pas de Chavanette, which is also called the "Swiss Wall" is one of the most impressive slopes of the world.

Last but not least of course the Palladium of Champéry. The large panel of infrastructure includes seminar and conference rooms, hotel with 80 beds, multi-purpose hall with stage, expositions and congress rooms, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, ice skating rink, curling hall and fitness area.
