Spacious, modern, well equipped, centrally located luxury apartment close to cable car and village centre. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Log fire. TV, wireless internet. Our local agents can provide an enormous range of services, many of which are included in the basic rental price. The following services are included free of charge: use of ski storage locker at the top of the cable car; arrangement of ski passes and ski equipment rental; arrangement of airport trasfers (cost of transfer excluded). Other services at additional cost include breakfast delivery, catering services, shopping, babysitting, massage and beauty services etc. If there is a service that you are interested in that is not listed, please ask, as it can probably be provided.
Lounge area has 50inch TV, with cable TV including the main English language channels, and DVD and BluRay player. Sound system with ipod dock. Wirelss broadband internet included.
The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with fridge and separate freezer compartment, oven, microwave and grill, warming drawer, hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine and fondue set. The kitchen equipment was selected by a keen cook and there is sufficient equipment to prepare full three or four course meals for 8 people. For example the kitchen knives are Japanese Global knives.
The furnishings, linens, crockery and glassware are all of the highest quality. For example the linens and towels are all from The White Company, and the crockery is all bone china in plain white.

Bedroom one has a king size double bed which can be split into two single beds. Wardrobes with ample storage. Easy chair. Alarm clock radio with ipod connector. There is an en suite bathroom with WC, basin and bath with glass screen and power shower above.
Bedroom two has a bunk bed, sleeping two people. Wardrobe and chest of drawers. Flat screen TV and Playstation 3.
Bedroom three has a queen size double bed, wardobe with drawers below. Alarm clock radio with ipod dock. Flatscreen TV and DVD player.
Bedroom four has two single beds which can be joined together to make a king size double. Wardobe with drawers below. Easy chair. Flat screen TV and DVD player. En suite shower room with WC, basin and walk in power shower with sliding glass shower doors.
Main bathroom with WC, basin and bath with sliding glass screen and power shower above.
There is a washing machine and tumble drier for guest use in the basement of the building.
There is also a shared use games room in the basement which has table football currently and table tennis. The building also has a sauna available for guest use.

The apartment is next door to the Palladium sports centre which has a heated swimming pool, ice rink, curling rink, gym and fitness centre, and bar and restaurant. In the summer there is tennis available (directly outside the apartment) and an outdoor swimming pool with lovely views of the mountains, and beach volleyball. There is also an equestrian centre within 100 metres.
In winter the ski facilities are first class with the cable car within 150 metres giving access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski region with 650km of pistes. Guests have complimentary use of a ski locker at the top cable car station.
In summer there is mountain biking, and rock climbing available.
The apartment is no smoking and pets are not allowed. It is suitable for families.
The Swiss Alps region

"Superbly appointed apartment"
Very spacious and superbly appointed apartment in a large modern chalet. Everything you could wish for has been provided and great care has been taken with the quality of the furniture and fittings. Good location right by the sports complex and a short walk to the main street with bars and restaurants. Covered and secure parking is a bonus.
We will definitely go again!

"A beautiful apartment, perfectly located."
The Chalet des Amis are located a couple of minutes walk from the cable car, sports centre and local shops, which made this a fantastic place to stay.
Our chalet was beautifully designed and the furnishings were exceptional. The chalet more than catered for our needs, as we had access to LCD TVs and a games console, wireless internet, a plethora of board games and communal games room so there was always something to keep us busy in the evening.

"Perfect location and superbly equipped accommodation"
We stayed in Chalet des Amis for a week towards the end of the season in 2010. The chalet is a stone's throw from the frequent and quick cable car taking you right to one of the main access points for the brilliant Portes du Soleil region. Even on the last day of the season we skied the entire day. Right next door is a good sized swimming pool, ice-skating and chance to try curling, which sadly we didn't get around to doing.
The apartment is equipped to an impeccably high standard with everything you need and more. Both teenage boys made full use of the huge TV, playstation 3 and music system.... and we all enjoyed the log fire.
The kitchen has everything from a Nespreso machine to a set of Global knives making cooking easy and pleasurable... we only ate out one night in 6.... Add to all that, very comfortable beds, superb power showers, a bath for aching muscles and ample space for everyone not to fall out. This apartment provided the base for an excellent holiday and we thought great value too. We plan to visit during the summer months to explore the area without snow.

I stayed here as part of a private party of fathers who were having some time away from their families, doing their thing! The apartment is spacious and beautifully appointed in a modern chalet some 7 minutes walk away from the funicular. It is in tip top condition with high end furnishing throughout and great hi fi/T.V kit. Highly recommended. T.T Harpenden, Hertfordshire

"Refined Property in Refined Resort"
This is a very well equipped, spotless and stylish apartment ideally located close to the all year sports centre and a short walk to the cable car or village centre.
The apartment is light, contemporary (no pine!), with a large L shaped kitchen, dining, living area with an open fire and large TV with UK channels. Garage parking is an asset if visiting in winter.
Champery is a charming, attractive, understated village (this is not Verbier!) with the centre a short walk up from the property. There are excellent restaurants (including Le Nord where the beef tartare is a must and c21) and quality shops.
For skiers, access to and from the slopes is via the cable car. If those with a preference for ski-in ski-out are apprehensive, don't be. Because of the short walk from the property - it works surprisingly well. Once up in the Champery ski area, the French border, Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes Du Soleil are only a couple of lifts away. For a classic, long, ski lunch don't miss the Terrasse at Les Lindarets.
Having visited in the winter, a summer visit is very tempting as it's clear that the village is geared up for activities including walking and biking and the apartment would be a great base.
