Champbois is located in the centre of Champery, adjacent to the Palladium sports centre (swimming pools, ice rink, curling and tennis) and a 2 minute walk from the cable car up to Portes du Soleil. Quiet location. Terrace gives on to shared garden with uninterrupted view of surrounding mountains. The living area has an open kitchen and large lounge/dining area with cable TV, video and DVD. One bathroom with wc and second separate wc with wash basin. Impressive stock of books, videos as well as games and jig-saw puzzles. Fast internet access

Swiss Portes du Soleil / Champery area
Champéry is situated at 1050 meters and nestles at the bottom of the Dents du Midi and Dents Blanches mountains. This year sees Champéry celebrate 150 years of tourism making it one of the oldest touristic sites in Switzerland. Contrary to many other well known ski resorts, Champéry has maintained an authentic and traditional aspect.
How to get there
1 1/2 hours driving time from Geneva. Many budget airlines fly from UK airports to Geneva - from where you can take the train to Champery, with just one change in Aigle. Trains leaves at 47 minutes past the hour, from 6.47 a.m. to 6.47 p.m. Next and last of the day is 8.47 p.m. Travel time by train is 2 1/2 hours. A 5 minutes walk, (on the flat) take you to Champbois.
