We had a wonderful stay at Yew Tree Farmhouse, made even better by a good spell of weather, although it's the kind of house which you would happily lock yourself away in and stay by the fire. We were all lost for words when we arrived. The location is beautiful and the house has a lovely charm which made us all feel like we at a home away from home. The house is very spacious and there isn't a single bedroom where you feel someone has drawn the short straw. The kitchen is great for preparing large feasts with an Aga, gas hob and electric oven too! There's also good supply of crockery, glasses, cookware and a much needed dishwasher. The owners were fantastic with helping us book our stay and had great recommendations for local things to do. They have their own excellent website with all the vital info. I really recommend this property for large groups and families. |

A very comfortable house to stay in. It is well furnished without being fussy, and there is plenty of room for a large group of friends and their dogs. Once the fires are lit, it feels very homely and it,s very easy to settle in for the evening. Everyone in my group loved the house. |

We booked this weekend for a birthday celebration on the first weekend in December, and the house was perfect for our four families (14 in total plus a labrador). The 6 teenagers had the top floor, with the adults enjoying the space in the lovely bedrooms. We were all able to sit down to eat together in the dining room, and chill out on the comfy sofas in front of the log fire. The kids had a ball - with table tennis in the barn, and enough nooks and crannies for a great game of sardines! From the house we were able to do lovely walks around the Cotswold countryside, with pubs on route. A fantastic weekend away! |
