"Fun, Educational, Peaceful, Enjoyable Stay at Lower Hearson Farm"
We all had a great time at the Farm. Five of us (4 Adults and 1 child aged 5). Farmer Graeme was a great host and we all looked forward to meeting up in the mornings and evenings to help feed the animals. The look on our son's face was priceless when he was feeding the pigs, sheep and hens, and collecting the eggs! He made a new friend in Farmer Graeme's dog Tavy. Lots of things to do on the Farm including a trampoline, swings, covered swimming pool, games room which included snooker/pool table, table tennis, and you could even borrow children's DVDs to watch. The Farm is in an ideal setting. Beaches are close by as are local pubs which are child friendly and the accommodation has useful information showing Places of Interest and Where to go for restaurants, shops etc. I would highly recommend booking a stay at the farm. We have taken away some great memories and we look forward to booking again Thanks once again to Farmer Graeme for a magical experience.
Thank you for your wonderful review. It was great having you all to stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

"Fantastic family farm holiday"
This was our second visit to Lower Hearson Farm and we had a great time. Very friendly welcome from Graeme the farmer who is an excellent host. The children loved feeding the animals every day. Fantastic accommodation - spacious, clean and a good layout for an extended family. The facilities on the farm are excellent with games room, trampoline, play equipment and the swimming pool - great for cooling down after a busy day sightseeing. The farm is well situated to explore North Devon but remote enough to feel as if you are really getting away from it all. We plan to visit again soon. The Wednesday Sausage Sizzle is not to be missed! Many of the other guests were return visitors, so my advice is to book early to avoid disappointment!
It is always a real pleasure to have you all here staying with us. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

"Lovely, relaxing, welcoming place with both lots to do onsite and plenty places to visit."
We are a family of five, two adults and three children aged 15,13 and 10. We loved our third visit to Lower Hearson Farm this year. Graeme is always welcoming; never minds being asked for local information. The children (and adults) enjoy meeting the animals and Graeme was more than happy to let them help with feeding the pigs and chickens. While we stayed there was a recent litter of piglets and you could spend ages just watching them! The facilities are great. There's lots to do on the grounds inc games room, DVD rental, books, sandpit, climbing frame and of course the outdoor heated pool. The kids loved using the pool for long or quick dips - no matter the weather, it's always warm inside. The spacious cottage was comfortable, clean and tidy throughout. The kitchen was well equipped. We particularly like the location as even though the cottages are away from the main town areas, there are so many places/attractions/things to do within 30-40mins (many nearer). You also have a wide choice of beautiful beaches. Our favourite is Westward Ho! but Saunton Sands is only 10mins away. The first time we came the children were only 7,5 and 2 -so we've stayed with both teenagers and younger children and have loads of super family memories. Hopefully we'll get to get to go back and make even more!
