This property boasts a lovely private garden with a gas barbecue and al fresco dining area seating 6 persons. A 10 feet diameter by 3 feet deep splash pool is also in the garden together with 2 sun loungers and large umbrella. Also a stylish and comfortable 2 seater sofabed to relax on. On the front of the apartment there is a large balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. Two internal yards give this lovely property a bright and airy feel. No other apartment like it on the market.

A truly fascinating island full of history and charm... The people very friendly and helpful... An all year round island with lots of things to do and see...The climate is Mediterranean, with mild rainy winter and hot dry summers.

The archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino with a total population of 400,000 inhabitants over an area of 316sq km and a coastline of 196.8km

Malta is the largest island. Gozo is the second largest island and is more rural, characterised by fishing, tourism, crafts and agriculture while Comino is largely uninhabited. With superbly sunny weather, expansive beaches, a thriving nightlife and 7,000 years of intriguing history. Several temples around the island such as Hagar Qim and Mnajdra are believed to have been erected around 1000 years before the famous pyramids of Giza and are the oldest freestanding monuments in the world.

There is a great deal to see and do. With a little help from any guidebook, captivating places of interest are immediately identified – the world famous Hypogeum selected as a place of World Heritage by UNESCO, prehistoric temples and grand palaces are but a few.

Swieqi is centrally located, and by means of public transport which is 5 mins walk from the property, makes it easier to go around the island and appreciate the places of interest which the island has to offer.


All our guests comment on the fantastic location of this apartment as it is close to everything and everywhere. Swieqi is a modern and quiet village located close to the buzzing nightlife of Paceville. Just 2 minutes walk down the road takes you to a cinema complex with 17 theatres showing all the latest movies, 10 pin bowling alley with 20 lanes, a games room and a children's entertainment area. A shopping complex, bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants are situated a short walk from the apartment. Two casinos are less than 10 minutes walk away and offer both slot machines and live gaming tables. Sliema, the most cosmopolitan town is just a 10 minute bus ride from Swieqi and Valletta, the capital, 20 minutes away. In the summer months every weekend one or more festas are held celebrating the patron saint of the village. Fireworks are let off every evening lighting up the night sky. A 10 minute drive takes you to a nice water park which is lovely both for adults and children.

"Just Brilliant!"

Caroline greeted us on arrival and couldn't have been more welcoming. Excellent communication via email before trip and Caroline helpfully ordered taxi's to & from the airport for us. This was an ideal apartment for a family or group of friends (which we are). Apartment secure (alarmed & safety deposit box), well equipped and it was fab to have the outside terrace to relax in. The morning sun hit the balcony at the front for the early coffee and is in the garden terrace all afternoon. The location was perfect. Far enough away from the nightclubs so it was quiet, but an easy walk to St George's and St Julien's bay areas. Would definitely recommend.

"Excellent place with lovely owner"

The apartment is beautiful. Big, very clean with one big terrace and a balcony. Caroline (the owner) is very sweet and nice and caring and flexible. The location is perfect: enough far from the party places, so its quiet, otherwise only few minutes far by walk from the restaurants, bars and the seaside. Highly recomended to everybody. "Fantastic apartment"

The apartment is exactly as advertised. The facilities are great, there are shops nearby to cover the days to day needs. There is a supermarket in Paceville for everything else. Nightlife is a five or ten minute walk away, depending on your age! Too cold for swimming (November) but nice garden to relax in. If you know Malta, (we did!) then this is a great place. Caroline met us on arrival and checked us out when we left. If you will be arriving early morning, ask for some water coffee and milk. The nearby shop opens around 06:00.

"Perfect appartment, Great service!!!"

The lovely owners created a very welcoming environment for us! Both being very friendly and helpfull. The appartment is very spacious, modern and cosy at the same time: it felt like our home straight away. The garden with pool is also very relaxing. I can only say the pictures don't lie!! The surroundings felt very safe and the beach, shops, bars and restaurants as well as nightlife are all at short walking distances without being a threat to your peace in the appartment. We would definitely reccomend the appartment to families and we will visit again for sure!

"Fantastic accommodation, good location, very nice and helpful owners"

We had a great experience booking and staying at the this accommodation. We felt perfectly safe, the accommodation has two safes and an alarm. We experienced no problems what so ever and would highly recommend it! The accommodation both the décor and facilities are just lovely and of a high standard. We were greeted upon arrival by the owner Caroline, who was really nice and very helpful. She phoned a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was ok and if she could help with anything. The location was really convenient for both St Georges (5-10 minute walk) and St Julians Bay (15 minute walk). We really couldn't fault our stay and as I said would highly recommend it to anyone.

"Fantastic Apartment, Fantastic Location, Fantastic Landlords !!!"

After reading the last review made I was a bit nervous about renting this property - BUT BOY WAS I RIGHT NOT TO CANCEL !! Caroline (the owner) went out of her way to help us during our stay. She called every other day to see that we were ok and if we needed anything. She gave us great advise on where to shop, restaurants etc. On Easter Sunday herself and her daughter mad a "typical maltese easter cake" and delivered it to us with a bottle of wine - which we very much appreciated. The Apt is like a "tardis" - looks nothing from the outside but the inside is fabulous. Everything was practically brand new, modern and user friendly. The living/dining area is large with DVD player, cable TV and off this is a great balcony for people watching!! We ate our breakfast there most mornings as it gets the sun (am). The bedrooms were large with glass doors looking onto the wonderful garden and splash pool. The garden is like a little oasis in the middle of the town !! Not alot of Maltese apts have a garden so this is a little gem to unwind in and relax. We sat in the afternoon sunbathing in the garden and there is also a table and chairs to dine at. It is soo quiet !! The Apt is very very central to explore St Julians, Sliema etc on foot. A car is not required as you are literally a 2 minute walk to down to the bars, restaurants of Paceville and the bus stop is just at the bottom of the road. Buses run all the time and are £1.50 for a days ride We did hire a car and explored the island a bit more. There is a small shop just 100m up the road which sells bread, milk etc. but for larger shopping sprees "Arcadia" at the Portomaso Tower is excellent. Stocks everything you need for your stay. Malta is place you either love or hate and we LOVED it. I would recommend this apt for its location, its size and most of for the more than helpful owners !! Thanks Caroline for a wonderful stay. Looking forward to seeing you again in the future.

"The house is fine but extremely unsafe"

We rented this apartment in December to spend Christmas and New years together with all of our friends. The apartment is fine and just like in the pictures. The owners were nice and helpful and there were no issues there. But unfortunately, one of the nights when we went out to a bar, the place was robbed and the theives got away with all of our electronics and cash. Now we could've just been plain unlucky but there are 2 major factors that make this place unsafe in our opinion: 1) The apt has a tiny safe! It only had enough space to fit our passports in and had it been a normal-sized safe, we could've stored soome of the more expensive electronics we had. 2) The backyard has this illusion of being relatively safe as there are high walls surrounding it (as can be seen from the pictures.) But what you cannot see and what we found out only too late is that the building is situated on a hill and the courtyard walls are pretty much on level with the ground behind the house. This means that anyone can easily just step into the courtyard without a blink and enter the apartment through the sliding doors, which is probably how the theives got in the house during our stay. This makes the place extremely unsafe and according too our conversations with the police and the owner himself, this could not be fixed as the walls could not be made any higher due to municipal regulations either. We would definitely not recommend this house to anyone!!

We regret that you experienced this unfortunate incident which spoilt your holiday and pushed you to leave negative feedback. We would like to point out a few things out for clarity’s sake. There was no evidence of a break-in, which was even stated in the police reports and confirmed by someone from your party who left a back door open. Unfortunately some people tend to be lax about security measures when they are on holiday, I am sure you would never dream of leaving your own home open before going out. That would be an open invitiation to whoever wants to burglar a house. Notwithstanding, we took immediate action to ensure that no intruder could make his way into the property. We have further built up the back garden wall to a height of 3.70m and also installed an intruder alarm system. As regards the safe it is a regular domestic size and should have been able to hold all your passports, cash and mobile phones but we have also went one step further and changed it to a larger one. As you are aware we offered to find you alternative accommodation and refund you for the remaining days taking in consideration that you might not feel comfortable after the incident, an offer which you refused. Instead you wanted to stay in the apartment and get compensation from us. We found this to be very unfair especially considering that a back door was left open and the burglar certainly found this extremely easy to gain access into the property. We have been renting the apartment successfully for the last four years and all of our past guests have found the apartment to exceed their expectations in every way. Some have also returned to stay with us year after year and have also recommended us to their friends and family.
