Looking to enjoy a beautiful break in Wales and explore the Welsh coast and countryside this is a perfect base. Situated on Swansea's Waterfront Marina you can make the most of both worlds. From the stunning coastlines of the Gower & Pembroke to the countryside of the Brecon Beacons, there is also a wealth of nightlife with bistros, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. The property is on the 2nd floor and offers partial views of Swansea Marina. With secure underground parking for 1 vehicle (spaces tight and care should be taken when manoeuvring between levels) and an onsite restaurant at the top floor of Wales' tallest building. The property offers a modern and high standard of fitting and equipment with flat screen TV's in the lounge and wi-fi. The Meridian Tower has a concierge service.

Swansea Marina in the city's historic Maritime Quarter, combines the vibrancy of a city centre location with the tranquility of a waterfront and beach resort.

Five miles from the village of Mumbles, and linked by a promenade, it is bordered on one side by a vast expanse of sandy beach and bustling Swansea on the other.

The Maritime Quarter includes over 1000 homes, some new and contemporary and others dating back to Georgian times.

Centred round a dock, a holiday apartment in the Marina is your chance to soak up an area with real maritime spirit. Swing bridges and locks, yachts, boats and motor cruisers, listed buildings and sculptures all add to the atmosphere as do cafes, bars, shops and restaurants.

Alongside and linked by an iconic Sail Bridge, is SA1, a £138million dockside development.

Marina or SA1, there's so much to do all within walking distance. Water sports on the beach, sailing lessons, cinemas, bowling, clubbing and high street shopping as well as Swansea Market, the largest indoor market in Wales.The LC, a superb multi-million pound leisure complex and water park is literally a stone's throw away, as is the National Waterfront Museum telling the story of Wales' industrial and maritime history.

Stroll a little further to Swansea Museum, the oldest museum in Wales as well as The Dylan Thomas Centre which hosts a permanent exhibition. Bikes are provided but no cycle helmets are provided and to be used at own risk.

"Well equipped apartment, good location, friendly helpful owners"

Lots of little extras good wi fi, books, games, bottle of wine and flowers on arrival. Very well equipped and presented. Large windows although views not great but not really a problem. Position is second floor with lift from secure entrance via concierge hall, Just a few steps from sea front and restaurants, marina amenities etc. Close to town and shops and access to level walks around the bay. Owners apologised for access to enclosed parking having tight turns but I didn't find it a problem at all in a 3008 size car think owners making sure we were OK. They had an alternative park anyway. Their attitude seems to be very considerate to their guests . - Will stay there again
