About the home

'Acorns' annexe is perfectly located to enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer.
Beaches, Tennis, Putting, shops and numerous eateries are all in walking distance.
Durlston Country Park , perfect for enjoying a picnic, walking or just relaxing in beautiful surroundings is only a 5 minute drive away. Corfe Castle, with its famous ruins and quaint village square, and Studland ,with soft sandy beaches and chain link ferry to Bournemouth, are all just a 15 minute drive from the property. The steam train is also available for travel to Corfe Castle.
Swanage is an ideal destination for a 'beach' or walking holiday and is also a great place for breaks out of season, when we also offer short breaks for 2 persons.

A deposit of one third of total cost of your holiday is required when booking, balance is due no later than 8 weeks before holiday commences.
Short breaks payable in full on booking.
Payment by pay pal, BACS, or cheque. Payment by pay pal has a surcharge of 2 percent. Please include security deposit with final payment.
Please note; if sending separate cheque for security deposit, cheque will be banked on receipt. Deposit will be returned to you within 14 days of your departure, provided no extra cleaning, repairs or replacements are needed at the property after inspection.
Confirmation of booking will be sent once payment has cleared.

In 2001 The Jurassic Coast ,which runs from Lyme Regis to Poole Harbour was awarded World Heritage status, it is England's only UNESCO natural World Heritage site! The area has some of the finest countryside, Stunning views, busy maritime harbours, historic houses & gardens, castles, villages and market towns.Over half of Dorset is officially recognised as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The south west coast path has some of the most spectacular coastline to explore.

The Swanage area

Swanage is a seaside town on the Jurassic Coast and part of the World Heritage Coast.
A large variety of restaurants & cafes serving everything from sandwiches to A la Carte, and traditional village Inns are all within a short distance.
The safe sandy bay is perfect for swimming and water sports. Numerous boat trips are available from the quay, a wonderful way to see the outstanding coastline.
There are several festivals through the year including a Blues Festival in early Spring, week long Regatta and Carnival in summer and Folk festival at the end of the summer.
The Swanage Steam Railway hold numerous events each year. Walks can be enjoyed in the area with some of the most impressive views of the coastline and surrounding countryside. Durlston Country Park is a wonderful place to visit to get in touch with nature, guided walks and activities are available for all ages or just go it alone!

“A Very comfortable stay...a real home from home.” We were made most welcome on our arrival and were greeted with a welcome pack which included the essentials which was a nice touch and greatly appreciated after a long journey. This was our first family holiday with our 9 month old and the house was ideally laid out so would recommend the house if your little ones are not crawling or on the move. The house is only a few minutes walk from the beach and shops so the location is very central. The house is so clean and tidy and has most mod cons. Very warm and nicely decorated. We had a great stay and would recommend the house to friends and family. I don't think the photos do the house justice!
