"Perfect for a mixed family group"

The house is large and full of character with plenty of different rooms if people want to get away from the larger group. It is shabby and worn so if you are looking for the modern, super clean, minim… More

"big house with big garden"

The house and garden were very big. If you like old houses then this will be great for you. The inside toilet and shower room was very clean and modern. Unfortunately this was not for us as it was very dated with old furniture. Most windows could not be opened. There were a lot of moths inside which I think is why the carpets look like they had been eaten in the corners. The kitchen was not very clean at all. I do not know whether this was down to last occupants but this should have been rectified by the caretaker. The kitchen floor was also unclean. We only slept there and spent most of our time out because of this. On the plus side the bedding was clean. I am sorry but I would not return again until it the house had been updated. Just not our kind of holiday home.

"Large, comfortable house, perfect for a family holiday"

We spent a week in Swanage (4 adults, 3 kids) and loved the house. Plenty of space for kids to play in both house and garden, and loads of indoors/outdoors games too. The house is cosy, full of charm and very quiet, with a fully equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable. Fantastic views over the bay and Old Harry's rocks. The fact that there is only one shower room was not an issue as there are 2 separate toilets and washbasins in the 2 main bedrooms.

"Comfy, casual house, big garden, great views"

This is a large house set in a big garden with lovely views over Swanage Bay and Old Harry rocks. There is easy access to the town centre, the beach and lots of cliff walks. The children really enjoyed having their own playrooms and the house is well equipped with indoor and outdoor games. The kitchen is well equipped and there is the choice of eating in the dining room or the sun room. The downside is only one bathroom but there are basins in two bedrooms. The house is very comfortable but is obviously a holiday home and this is reflected in the rental price.
