About the home

Located close to the beaches, shops and restaurants of Holetown, and 300 metres from the beachfront resort club, with its members' pool, toilet and shower facilities, along with a bar and restaurant, which is discounted to guests at Cinnamon Cottage. There are many other nearby amenities, so your holiday is what you choose to make it - you can have a golfing vacation - playing on world class courses, or you can have an excursion/activity holiday, or you can sit on the beach and just chill, and of course you can mix it up, and have a little bit of everything - its all here for you.

In the mornings, you can take breakfast on the veranda and watch humming birds, yellow birds and little green geckos going about their daily tasks, and at night, you could sit under the stars by the pool with a glass of something cold and reflect on the freezing weather at home.

Not that there's much need to cook, when there's a great choice of restaurants just 5 minutes walk away, but the kitchen is well equipped should you choose to make your own meals, and dining is alfresco on the veranda.

Further details indoors:
Cinnamon Cottage is available for rent all year round. The lounge and the bedroom both have ceiling fans, as does the veranda, and there is also an efficient portable fan. AC is available in the bedroom at USD5 per night extra if required. Bedlinen and towels [including beach towels] are provided and laundered by the maid, who comes twice a week, and also does a little light cleaning. A hairdryer is available in the bedroom, and there is also a socket for UK appliances.

Guests are respectfully requested to smoke outdoors only.

Two comfortable sofas make the lounge a place to kick back and relax, and watch the cable television or a DVD, or just listen to music - a variety of DVDs and CDs are provided. There's also a telephone with internet access.
The lounge opens onto the veranda where you can dine in comfort or read a book and have a drink, overlooking the pool, which is attractively lit at night. The bedroom has a four-poster bed and the bathroom, with a shower over the tub, vanity and WC is just next door.

A pleasant and well equipped kitchen completes the indoor accommodation.

The St James Parish region

Beaches galore, 17 miles of "platinum" coast with sandy beaches, waters sports, beach chairs and umbrellas available in parts, some peaceful beaches and some livlier ones, some restaurants concentrated in and around Holetown, and some dotted along the coastline. There are two main shopping towns - a historic one at Speightstown, and a more modern one at Holetown. All the beaches are open to the public, and can be accessed along the coast road by foot, bus or taxi, depending on which one is your particular preference. The weather is almost always good, so pack light.
Tennis courts with equipment for hire are in Holetown and there are two famous golf courses in the area - Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland. Horses are also available for hire for beach riding, and there are several riding schools a drive away.
There are plenty of interesting tours and excursions - go with the organized ones, or rent a car and "do it yourself".

Such a wonderful hideaway with a beatiful flowering garden. we are already planning our next visit to your corner of paradise on earth!

The spa pool offered much needed resfreshment from the heat, and the comfort of the beds ensured really restorative sleep.

Wow what a great place - we enjoyed every minute, especially the benefit of a private jacuzzi. Can't wait to come back.

The cottage is ideally placed for the pool, beach, shops and restaurants, and is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need.
