"Wonderful Villa in Superb Location"
The property was everything that we hoped - and more. Palm Villa is very spacious with seating areas to suit everyone whether you prefer sun or shade or the comfort of a lovely sitting room. Not only had much thought gone into providing everything you could possibly need, but it was also so tastefully furnished throughout. Linda could not have been more helpful beforehand and we knew she was always on hand if we had any queries whilst on holiday - not that we had. The villa is superbly located for easy access to the beach, stores, restaurants and bars. We used the excellent bus service to travel to Bridgetown, Speightstown and over to Bathsheba on the east coast (which is a must, to see the difference in the east and west coasts). We also thoroughly enjoyed walking all around the local area with its manicured golf courses and 'over the top' mansions and gardens. The final word must go to the green monkeys who appeared most days to eat fruit off the trees and generally provide the most wonderful photo opportunities! A holiday to remember for ever - and probably repeat.

"Excellent, spacious villa"
We enjoyed our stay at Palm Villa with our two teenage daughters. It is fully equipped and has plenty of space both inside and out. It has a very homely feel and is close to local amenities.
We enjoyed the use of the hotel pool next door and the Beach House, and definitely plan to visit again.

"Private, relaxing - a home from home"
Palm Villa is a beautifully presented villa, 5 minutes walk from local shops and less than 10 minutes from beautiful Bajan beaches, shops and restaurants in the centre of Holetown. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need (the aircon was a godsend) and very comfortable - lots of space, lots of different areas to sit in according to time of day, mood and noisy teenagers... We really felt at home here.
The hotel pool next door was very handy - a lovely place to cool off at the end of a hot day.
We had a real treat one morning when a troupe of monkeys casually wafted past us at breakfast on the rear terrace, climbed onto the roof and reappeared in the trees at the front of the property. They regarded us as curiously as we watched them. We felt like we were the zoo animals.
Linda and her team (Janice and David the taxi) were outstanding. Linda gave us lots of information prior to our trip and patiently answered all our questions - it was our first trip to Barbados.
Our journey out there was a bit problematic as we were diverted to St. Lucia with the possibility of staying there overnight. What of our taxi driver waiting for us in Barbados? Janice waiting for us at the villa? Although it was late in England Linda was on the case and sorted everything out for us. When we finally landed in Barbados David was there with a welcoming smile to transport us to Palm Villa, where the lovely Janice was waiting to show us round.
We had other problems whilst on holiday - an abscess in a tooth, an infected toe - and Linda was on the end of the phone, talking to her local contacts trying to find the best care for us. Thank you so much Linda - we hope your other guests are not so problematic.
Janice was fantastic - she was there when we needed her, but not when we didn't.
Our favourite restaurants were Surfside - great cocktails, food, sunsets and friendly waitresses (and reasonably priced) - and The Beach House - stunning location and food - not quite so cheap but friendly staff - our daughter enjoyed the impromptu napkin folding masterclass!
If you fancy swimming with turtles try 'Cliff Sharker'. The owner, Charles, will make it an experience not to be missed. Based on the south coast it is a bit of a drive early in the morning (13 miles) but well worth the effort.
We had a fantastic 2 weeks in Barbados and in Palm Villa. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - wish we could have stayed longer.

"Wonderful needed break away from it all!"
My friend and I stayed at palm villa for two weeks in May this year. Having been to Barbados several times I knew the area well and the Villa is perfectly situated in a nice quiet neighbourhood within easy walk of the lovely local beaches and restaurants. Linda was brilliant to deal with and had great communication with me before, during and after our stay. The Villa has everything you need should you wish to cook at home instead of eating out and the undercover BBQ area is lovely to sit out in of an evening, whilst listening to the lovely sound of the tree frogs. The washing machine and dryer were brilliant to have and this was the only holiday where I have returned home with a clean suitcase of clothes. Brilliant, can't wait to return back next year!!

"Fabulous 2 Weeks at Sweet Palm"
We had the pleasure of staying at Sweet Palm for two whole weeks of pure bliss. Sweet Palm is in the perfect location. If you do not want to hire a car, you are within walking distance of shops / bank / supermarket / beaches / restaurants. Within ten minutes you will find everything you need. The accommodation has been well thought out; the outside areas are perfect for putting you feet up at the end of a hard day on the beach, or alfresco dining at the back of the house. The lounge area is really comfortable for the odd night in, the kitchen is perfectly equipped. You really want for nothing, the owner has thought of absolutely everything. Our bedroom was super comfortable and the air con was heaven sent when getting ready in the evenings, we didn't find we needed it any other times, although it was humid when we went, we coped really well. We hired a car for a week in the middle of our holiday and got around the island. As much as Holetown has everything you could possibly need, getting out exploring the rest of the island is a must. The national drink of rum punch has to be sampled around the island; we found the best one at Cutters also great to take a picnic lunch from if you are down on the south coast, we got a picnic from Cutters and spent an afternoon on Foul Bay beach (no sun beds or facilities so take plenty of water and food with you) , don't be put off by the name, it is gorgeous and we were the only ones there, other than the wardens. Tides in Holetown soon became a favourite restaurant. We also loved the Beach House for dinner. Lunch at Zaccios is lovely and inexpensive. Surfside for lunch (next to Zaccios) , a little more rustic, but also very good and inexpensive. We loved staying a Sweet Palm as the location was just perfect. Right in the middle of the West Coast and so easy to get anywhere either by hire car or the local buses – which is another must do. We did use the pool next door on a couple of afternoons and once for lunch – the fresh tuna sandwich was delicious; the staff are lovely and really welcome you in. We will be returning to Barbados and Sweet Palm in the future and can highly recommend this lovely house
