We spent two weeks in Barbados in February. The Travellers Palms was an excellent place to stay for the price we paid. The apartment had everything we needed, including air conditioning and a good sized kitchen for making breakfasts and simple evening meals when we didn't eat out. They were kept really clean. Beds and bedding were good. Swimming pool was cleaned every morning. There is a small restaurant on site which served excellent food. Would recommend a car as its a good 15 minute walk into town and local restaurants. Had an amazing holiday!!

Have stayed in several apts in the Sunset Crest area, this was the best.
Cafe has no menu of any kind so when you negotiate with the waitress what she might cook for you - you have no idea of final cost. Also, arrived on a Saturday and when I went to eat dinner at the cafe that night, the cook was only cooking a pre-ordered meal for a group - and nothing for any other guest - there wasn't even a packet of crisps to be had. The receptionist did not mention the food unavailability on arrival, or that one should pre-order.
.Door to reception operated by intercom system which several guests had trouble with - instructions for use should be on the door.
No help with luggage on arrival and had to heave my suitcase up and down several flights of stairs.
Allocated apt had air conditioner that didn't work. Made 3 trips to receptionist about this with her giving me repeated operating instructions, as if I must be doing something incorrectly - which didn't work. When she finally tried for herself and was unsuccessful, I was moved elsewhere where everything was in order.
Feel training in customer service could be improved.
However, a clean, quiet apt in a pleasant area and as one is out much of the time was quite satisfied - after initial setbacks.
