The Black Sea Coast region
Sunny Beach is situated in the southern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea Riviera, stretching along a beautiful semi-circular bay protected by the slopes of the Balkan mountains to the north. Lying to the south 5km (3miles)is the small penninsular on which the ancient town of Nessebar is located.
