Sunny Day 3 is set in tranquil surroundings and just a short leisurely stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the main resort centre, where you can find a huge variety of shops, bars, restaurants and even casinos that can cater for the whole family.
Even the FUSSY EATERS will be happy with the choice of foods and value for money. For the self caterer, two large supermarkets are around the corner, one of which is open 24HRS.
Just a 5 minute walk away is Camelot, the newest multi entertainment complex in Sunny Beach with ten pin bowling, pool tables arcade games restaurants, caberet shows and disco.

The Black Sea Coast region

The Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, stretching for 236 miles (380km), is a very popular destination for Bulgarians as well as foreign visitors every summer, with warm sea temperatures, a sunny climate and picture-perfect white sandy beaches, modern resorts and a very favourable exchange rate, (not in Euro currency) its no wonder it is fast becoming an inexpensive and attractive holiday destination for many travellers.

The Black Sea is half as saline as the Mediterranean.

Summer temperatures vary between 25°C and 27°C, water temperatures between 17°C and 25°C. There are more than 240 hours of sunshine in May and September, and more than 300 in July and August.

Sitting at the same latitude as The French Riviera/Barcelona yet with much warmer sea temperatures, this is a genuine family holiday paradise.

The climate couldn’t be better. The sea breeze makes even the hottest days easy to bear and the nights are pleasantly cool.

The coast is also one of the best spa regions in the country and resorts offer the added attraction of mineral baths, mud treatments and thermal springs and has many historical and cultural attractions dating back to prehistoric times.

The Sunny Beach / Sunny Beach Main Resort area

Sunny Beach is the biggest and the sunniest resort, with the longest and the widest beach strip, with hotels spread along the beach and among the dunes. It is situated in the southern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea Riviera, stretching along a beautiful semi-circular bay protected by the slopes of the Balkan mountains to the north.

The resort's 8 km (5 miles) stretch of golden sands, natural dunes and clean and calm sea, make it preferable for family tourism. Sunny Beach resort has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag International prize.

There is an abundance of water sports available on the beach and every conceivable opportunity for sports: surfing, water skis and parachutes, hang-gliding and banana, sailing, yachts, paddle boats, cutters, scooters, rowboats, tennis courts, beach volleyball, playing grounds, mini-golf, skittle alley, can all be found locally.

A genuine fun-lovers paradise – boasting 2 waterparks and an outdoor carting track.

An international standard golf course is due to open nearby in 2009.

The resort has over 130 catering establishments: restaurants, taverns with folklore shows, bars with floor shows, night clubs, casinos, discos and cafes that provide culinary pleasures and a good mood.

For sightseeing you can hire a car, scooter or bike, or take a small picturesque train, which can take you through the whole of Sunny Beach to Nessebar. There are a lot of places of interest to visit around the place.
There are regular water ferry trips across the bay to the delightful 4000 year old town of Old Nessebar.

Nessebar (3km away), a small town included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites. It’s a living monument of human history with ancient fortress walls, medieval churches, narrow cobblestone lanes and old wooden houses with strings of dried fish hanging from their roofs. It also boasts a beautiful harbour with fantastic restaurants.

Bourgas (35km away) is great for local markets for bargains, cafe’s, restaurants and perhaps most of all its friendly people. It really is recommended for anyone coming to Sunny Beach.

Varna (90km away) Hire a car and drive up the coast through the mountains to the vibrant and beautiful city.

You could also take one of the many two-day coach trips to the likes of Sofia, Rila Monastery, Plovdiv and Bachkovo.
