A stylish well equipped detached bungalow with garden and patio area, set in a first class location situated on the hillside just 2 kilometres from Sunny Beach with fantastic views of the mountain range. Part of Almond Hill Villas, a small complex with 24 hour security, swimming pool and shop, you will find the surroundings relaxing and tranquil and yet a short hop to the lively resort of Sunny Beach or the historic culture of Old Nessebar – this really is a holiday where you will get the best of both worlds and Bulgaria is not yet using the Euro and is still great value for money.
Our bungalow is great for kids or those who are finding it hard to get up and down stairs! Inside you will find two bedrooms both with en-suites - one with a shower and the other with a bath. The large open plan lounge and dining room provides ample space and the well equipped kitchen has all you need. Bulgaria's equivalent of Sky TV as well as a range of DVDs are on hand if you need them; although you more likely to be on the patio which looks out towards the pool, lounging on the sun loungers, whilst cooking on the barbecue and taking in the fabulous sunsets.
You will find sun umbrellas, bbq, loungers, paddling pool , travel cot and a range of toys and games.
The international resort of Sunny Beach is only 2km away and can be reached via public bus or a mini bus shuttle system which runs from Almond Hills regularly. The private mini bus shuttle also transports guests to the ancient town of Old Nessebar or the newly built Marina in St Vlas. Car hire is available on-site for those who wish to explore the Black Sea Coast.
This is an ideal holiday for all ages.

The Black Sea Coast region
The Sunny Beach area has 8kms of golden sand and is one of the few places along the Black Sea coast where you can still see authentic well formed sand dunes the preserve the unique and unspoiled nautre only found on this coast. The combination of forests, sandy beaches and sea provide a stunning backdrop to your holiday. From May through to September there are approximately 1700 hours of sunshine with an average daily temperature of 27 degrees.
There a numerous forms of entertainment in Sunny Beach including restaurants, night clubs, bars with floor shows, discos, casinos and cafes - catering of all.
There is every conceivable opportunity for sporting activity including surfing, water skiing, sailing, banana boats, paddle boats, cutters, rowing boats and on dry land, tennis courts, beach volleyball, playgrounds, mini-golf and skittle aley, ten pin bowling, horseriding, gooo-karting, scooters parachuting and hand gliding. There are also two Aqua Parks the first five minutes drive from the villa the second recently opened at Ravda, and approximately 15 minutes drive away.
Just along from Sunny Beach you can discover the stunning cobbled town of Nessebar, which at over 2500 years old is one of the oldest towns in Europe. There you will find a unique and tranquil atmosphere that sits within the fantastic harbour fish restaurants, cafes and galleries. The twon also features the remains of over 40 churches and Thracian ruins. Nessebar can be easily reached by bus, boat or mini train from Sunny Beach.
Day trips can also be made from Sunny Beach to Sozopol, Pomorie, Varna and even Turkey.
There is a local bus which stops outside Almond Hill complex and takes you down to Sunny Beach, Nessebar and Kosharitsa or you can use the mini-bus. Fares are very cheap. Local taxis are also available.
Sunny Beach / Kosharitsa area
A ten minute walk from our bungalow takes you to Hutners Lodge, a beautiful traditional Bulgarian restaurant. Here you can enjoy a three course meal with wine for about £7.00. Several evenings a week you can take in the traditional dancing, music and the famous "walking on hot coals" ceremony.
Two kms further up the hillside is the actual village of Kosharitsa. The village has several shps and a bar/tavern and restaurant which are excellent.
How to get there
There are charter flights direct to Bourgas and Varna between May and October from over 20 UK Airports. Wizz air fly from Luton to Bourgas and competitive rates. We can arrange transfers for you from the nearby Bourgas airport (transport time - 30 minutes) and Varna airport (transfer time 90 minutes). Nearest airport is Bourgas 32 km

Further details outdoors: Patio area for lounging around and barbeq-ing. Overlooks the swimming pool. We keep a paddling pool for small children to have fun in on the patio while the adults watch from the loungers!
Almond Hills is enclosed and has security staff ensuring that only residents and staff may enter the complex. At the entrance is a shop and cafe, bus stops.

Guestbook for Detached Bungalow, Sunny Beach
Just to let you know that we had a fantastic holiday. The bungalow was great for the kids, we didn't have to worry about Jack falling down stairs and he had such fun in the paddling pool while we are watching him from the loungers - peace!. The complex was so relaxing and quiet and we made many friends there - taking turns at the barbecue. Sunny Beach was a hive of activity - and we had a great time in the evening whilst "nan" baby sat!! We took the mini-bus to Nessebar and Sunny Beach and went further afield in the local taxi - next year we will probably hire a car. We found Bulgaria to be so much better value for money that our recent trips to Spain.
It was great thanks - we'll be back.
