Home description
The apartment is superbly situated on the highest point of this typical Bulgarian village with panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding countryside and the resort of Sunny Beach in the distance. It is one of 2 blocks of 6 and 8 apartments that share the pool and grounds.
The village of Tankovo has many small shops & mini-markets and several bars and cafes. The pace of life is extremely slow here and is fantastic if you want to come back to somewhere peaceful in the evening after a busy day.
There is a good local bus service right on your doorstep to take you to the nearby resorts of Sunny Beach, Nessebar and many others. Taxis are also available from the village. The beauty of this location is that you are just 7 or 8 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts but far enough away to offer you complete relaxation.
This is a very modern 1 bedroom apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Both balconies are supplied with table and chairs to make the most of the beautiful views.

The Black Sea Coast region
Sunny Beach is the largest Bulgarian Sea Resort situated on a wide semi circular bay with a 5 mile strip of beach backed by natural golden sand dunes, which is regarded as the best beach along the coast. It is naturally protected by the Balkan Mountain Range to the north and with its warm Mediterranean climate, clean (blue flag awarded) calm water and safe swimming it is a perfect all round holiday destination. The resort comprises of over 120 moden hotels and offers a wide range of activities including almost every sport imaginable and plenty of fun and games for the children.
With over 130 restaurants and taverns every taste is catered for. Nightlife is varied and ranges from nightclubs, discos, casinos and bars, to cafes, folkstyle spots and variety acts and entertainment in the local taverns.
There are many smaller resorts and lovely beaches along the coast here to explore.
Sunny Beach / Tankovo area
The apartment is in the tranquil village of Tankovo which is a typical Bulgarian village which has largely been untouched by modernisation or tourism. It is a working village and not like your average village back home. It has several well stocked mini markets and a scattering of cafes/restaurants but again you won't find the Rat and Parrot here. The village is peaceful and the locals friendly.
The village is ideally located just a 7-8 minutes drive away from the main resort of Sunny Beach or why not take the local bus which runs every hour right up until 12.30am.
Just 10 minutes away is the beautiful ancient Heritage Site of Nessebar where you can shop for all kinds of gifts and souveners and with many many fantastic restaurants to dine in. Many with great sea views. It is particularly beautiful in the evening with many of the old churches and ruins lit up. Well worth a visit.
