The Black Sea Coast region

The Black Sea coast benefits from hot weather and clear skys right from May through to October. Nearby Nessebar has gained UNESCO world heritage site status and this picturesque town is well worth a visit. The area is lively and developed to a high standard without losing its character.

The nearby major ports of Bourgas and Varna are lively, with plenty to see and do. It is worth a minibus visit for the shopping alone! On the other hand, those looking for culture will find many places of interest, from Ancient Greek and Roman remnants to historical Bulgarian monuments. It is even possible to travel to neighbouring Turkey for a visit.

Sunny Beach is perfectly placed for an enjoyable holiday with miles of sun, sea and sand plus a variety of excellent food, wine and beer. The area is perfect for adults and children alike with many activities and games for children, and excellent nightlife once the sun goes down from traditional cuisine to nightclubs and casinos.

For the young and the young at heart there are two aquaparks nearby and a huge array of watersports. Sunny Beach is notoriously safe. It has been awarded the blue flag, has some wonderfully calm, shallow waters and much of the area is covered by lifeguards.

Other activities include paintballing and bungee jumping. The emphasis on this holiday really is fun, but that needn't mean you can't enjoy a relaxing break with beautiful beaches perfect for lounging on.

Also by "MALEVAIR" from Gatwik to Varna.
New cheap flights are avalable by " EASYJET" from London Gatwik to Sofia, and from Sofia by coach to Sunny Beach, takes 5 hrs and 35 Leva(£13)
