Our anguish started before we left the UK. I had been told by the owner that the key had been posted but it only arrived 2 days prior to our holiday. After a long journey we were looking ofrward to using the hot tub. This was out of order and had been for a long while. It was advertised as Ok for people with reduced mobility, however there is no lift and the property is at the top of the block. One of our party is partially blind so needs good lighting to aid movement. Over half of the bulbs were not working and the shower room had none at the end. There was no handle on the washing machine but this was not a big problem as we had no where to dry the clothes anyway. The clothes dryer was a rusty mangled piece of metal. The fridge was a health hazard and needed to be cleaned before using. The next group arrived at 7.30am and we were not due to be out until 10am as discussed with the owner. THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE. Avoid at all costs.

Before confirming my booking I advised the owner of my flight times as we required the apartment from the early hours and it was agreed that this was ok. However when we arrived at the apartment we could not get in because there was still another family in there, at 2 am with 2 young children I was not amused. Eventually they left but obviously the apartment was not clean and the bedclothes were dirty. I tried to call the owner the next day and also text with no reply for the whole holiday, no cleaners ever arrived during our stay and I had to wash bedclothes on the first day which was difficult as there was no handle on the washer door but luckily there was a screwdriver in the draw! There was also no broom in apartment which is very unusual for this type of holiday rental so I borrowed one for 5 minutes from security so I could at least get rid of the other families hair grips, false nails, crumbs etc. We were unable to use the ensuite because from arrival the toilet was dirty and blocked and started to smell badly and there were small flies in this bathroom. In the advert there were photos and information about a hot tub on the balcony. Before arriving I e-mailed the owner to say i would like to pay the extra for the use of the hot tub with no reply, when we arrived it was obvious that the hot tub hadn't been used for a long time and an out of order sign was on it, the children were very disappointed! Another question I asked was wether the apartment and pool were on a noisy road and I was told that they weren't, this was not the case the apartment is actually on the busiest road through the resort which made the pool and the front balcony unbearable with road noise. I was also informed that there were sunbeds around the pool free of charge. they were in fact chained up and when I got 2 of them unchained I was asked for money, we only wanted to use them for a short time so the children could have a quick swim because the pool area was not a place we could spend too much time at because it wasn't a relaxing place and other people staying at the apartments tended to use the pool in a similar way to us. Communication from the owners before booking was great but after this when I e-mailed replies were very slow to the point at one stage I thought that I was going to have to find another apartment to fit in with my flight dates as they hadn't replied for 2 weeks after repeated e-mails, and of course no reply while we were there and I have also e-mailed them before writing this review to let them know about the problems and my concerns with due time to reply, I am still waiting. The last thing is the sofa it is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever has to sit on so we spent most of our time out. This apartment was not what we had hoped for but Sunny Beach was great and I would definately recommend the resort, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and the beach is great and the Aqua Park at Nessebar is great.
