The Black Sea Coast region
The villa is situated close to Aheloy which is a traditional bulgarian village. The nearest resort is Ravda, which is a small but lively family orientated town, with ample restaurants, bars and entertainment and handful of shops.
Nessebar Aqua Paradise is the largest and newest aquapark in the country situated 10 minutes away from the villa. The park has 20 fantastic water attractions, including slides, rides, tunnels and pools. It covers a whopping 30,000 square metres. Your children cannot fail to love the castle, which comes complete with towers, bridges and labyrinths.
Nessebar is founded on an ancient Thracian village which dates back to the 2nd Century B.C. Because of its strategic location, the settlement developed into a trading port which was initially called Messembria by the Greeks and later given the name of Nessebar. Architectural remains from the ancient town indicate that there were fortifications, aqueducts, an amphitheatre and a temple to the Greek god Apollo. The 'old town' has a picturesque collection of buildings, many of which are now used as tourist shops and restaurants. Nessebar is reputed to have contained no less than 41 churches. Although only a few of them have survived, it still offers an interesting selection of religious buildings, such as the Basilica and the Bishop's Residence. You can also see the remains of the fortified walls and Roman and Greek pavements.
Sunny beach is the main resort of the black sea coast and very lively. By day it offers beautiful sandy beaches, cleaned daily and perfect for families, also offering most water sports and boat trips round the coast or to Nessebar. By night, Sunny beach is very lively offering every type of restaurant, bars galore and entertainment, with street markets and shops open until late.
