Our romantic country house in open nature, on the fringe of a forest, awaits you with picturesque surroundings, tranquility and splendid views of lake Velence and the region from two large terraces.
The house is furnished and decorated in cozy country style and offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower & toilet, fully equipped kitchen with eating area, living area with fireplace, wine cellar, 2 terraces (25m2 & 50m2) and parking for 4 cars.

Lake Velence is one of the warmest lakes in Europe, due to its shallowness and the sunny climate. Enjoy water activities like swimming, sailing, canoeing, wakeboarding, fishing, etc. or other nearby outdoor activities like hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, golf, tennis, ballooning and more.

Major Cities & Settlements

Once a cradle of Hungary's foundation the area has two royal cities Székesfehérvár and Veszprém. In fact Veszprém is titled the Town of Queens after Gizella, wife of Hungary's first king St Stephen (-1038), who established a the country's first cathedral here.

In the Middle Ages Székesfehérvár functioned as royal residence, coronation and burial place of Hungarian Kings for more than 500 years.

Historic sights in downtown, the cathedral, churches and chapels, ruins, architecture, and museums help the visitor recapture the atmosphere of old times.

The Sukoro / Szekesfehervar area

Sukoró is a holiday resort situated at the northern coast of Lake Velencei and at the south foot of Velencei Hills, in picturesque environment. It is often referred to as the “Tihany” of Lake Velencei, an unpolished diamond. The victorious battle at Pákozd-Sukoró in the War of Independence of 1848 established the reputation of the village. The war council before the battle was held in the protected Calvinist Church of Sukoró, where memories are still preserved. The settlement has a beautiful panorama; the protected Calvinist Church and the natural resources near the national tourist route (such as Ingóko – Wobbling Stone, Olasz-kofejto – Italian Rock Mine, Likas-ko – Hollow Stone, Angelika-forrás – Angelika Spring, Éva-forrás – Éva Spring, and the Pákozd-Sukoró Arboretum) cannot be realistically described, you must see them for yourselves. Balloon-Sport Campsite and the International kayak and canoe course are also situated within the official boundaries of Sukoró. Besides those ten thousand tourists who chose Sukoró as a destination there are large numbers of visitors in transit, since those seeking relaxation, bathing, water sports, or hunting would enjoy themselves equally. In winter sledge riders and skaters arrive, looking for fresh air and quietness. Foreigners – dominantly German and Dutch visitors – have also developed a taste for the settlement in the past years. The events of the summer festival “Sukoró Summer” offer cultural curiosities throughout the season, including highstandard exhibitions in the Cultural Cen-tre, organ and other concerts in the protected Calvinist Church or in the Catholic Church where the organ has been refurbished recently. Those who look for good food and drinks might taste the famous wines of Velencei Hills in the cellars of Sukoró or can rely on the high llevel services of Boglya Csárda (Boglya Inn) or Gémeskút Restaurant. The location of Sukoró in the country is also an attractive feature for visitors, since it is only 48 km’s from Budapest, 14 km’s from Székesfehérvár and 50 km’s from Lake Balaton (Siófok) on the M7 motorway.
Whether you want to go fishing, sailing, kayaking, rowing, wakebording or just lying on the beach and enjoying the sunshine, you can do all these things at Lake Velence. Reedbed islands and marshlands provide habitat for numerous protected animals and plants. You can go for bird-watching at Dinnyés. Some sport events of international importance also take place at Lake Velence: fishing competition, rowing championship.
