One hour from Stanstead Airport. Forty five minutes from Liverpool Street Station London to Colchester 12 miles away. Twenty minutes from the A12 and 45 minutes from the A14 Bury St.Edmunds. Local taxis and car hire available. Regular bus service to and from Colchester and Bury St.Edmunds. Full directions will be given on booking confirmation.

Further details indoors: Large living room tastefully furnished including sofa bed for alternative sleeping, with electric 'wood burner' and stable door to garden. Kitchen/dining room with beams and brick floor. Zip and link bed converts to either double or twin beds. Bathroom with over bath shower and separate w.c.
Further details outdoors: The beautiful grounds surrounding the cottage were originally the moated gardens of a medieval manor house and contain some very mature plants and trees.
The former cartlodges have been converted to five star stables for those who wish to bring horses. Plenty of parking.
