The villa is situated in a small authentic Spanish village surrounded by numerous quality golf courses and many excellent beaches. The area is perfect for golfers or families alike. This 2 bedroom villa has a large open plan kitchen and dining and living room, all rooms have air conditioning installed. There is also a very large roof terrace with views across Sucina. Sun loungers, dining table & chairs and BBQ are provided for use. The villa has the use of two communal swimming pool, tennis court and children's play area.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The beautiful Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches are a short drive away as are numerous excellent golf courses. The Mar Menor is the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe and has 28 kms of sandy beaches.

The nearest beaches include San Pedro del Pinatar, Santiago De La Ribera, Lo Pagan and Los Alcazares, all just 15 minutes by car. The shallow non-tidal waters of the Mar Menor make it an excellent choice for families with small children. Water sports are also available.

With new motorways accessing the surrounding region and the rest of Spain, along with nearby international airports is extremely easy.

Sucina enjoys over 3000 hours of sunshine a year - that's about 300 days a year

Sucina Village area

Sucina is a quiet Spanish village and rests 12km inland from Murcia's Mediterranean shore, near the Columbares mountains. This allows you to enjoy the coast at will, but also enables you to retreat to serene surroundings when you want them.

The villa overlooks the village of Sucina which is a 2 minute walk away. The historical cities of Cartagena and Murcia are within a 25 minute drive . Sucina is ideal if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism and yet it is within easy reach of local resorts, golf courses and places of interest.

A local restaurant and bar which are very good are located within a few minutes walk from the villa and numerous other good restaurants and bars are located in surronding villages within a 10 minute drive.

Golf:
The stunning new La Peraleja (Seve Ballesteros) and Hacienda Riquelme (Jack Nicklaus) courses are both located within 3km from the villa. Some of the finest Blue Flag beaches in Costa Blanca and Costa Cálida all sit within a 30 minute radius of Sucina. Generally, Costa Blanca's beaches are lively, long white and lovely, while Costa Cálida's are less dramatic but a lot more personal. Some Cálida beaches west of Cartagena can only be reached by foot or by boat, which means you'll usually have less company. The Waterparks at Torrevieja are a 20 minute drive away.

How to get there

10-15 minute drive from Murcia San Javier airport and 45 minute drive from Alicante airport. Both journeys are very straight forward and easy.

Numerous airlines fly into Murcia and Alicante from various UK airports all year round. These include Monarch, Ryanair, Easyjet, Thomsonfly, bmibaby, flybe, flyglobespan and mytravelite.

Carhire available at both airports, Carhire3000 and Solmar are very competitive

A deposit is required and the balance payable 6 weeks before departure. You will be required to pay a refundable deposit of £100 to cover any damage or loss of keys during your stay. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure.

There is a one off cleaning charge of 40 Euros at the end of the stay payable locally.

Discounts are available for stays of more than 1 week.

A welcome pack is available if required as is airport pickup.
