2 bedroom terraced bungalow in Sucina (sleeps 4) which is very well equipped, including tv, dvd player, cd player and outdoor furniture on the roof terrace and the front terrace.

Shared pool (open May-September), tennis court and various play areas for children. Sucina has bars, restaurants, banks, a wine bar and a selection of shops including supermarkets and a chemist. Many golf courses nearby. Local beaches/airport 15 mins by car.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The beautiful Mar Menor and Mediterranean beaches are a short drive away. The Mar Menor is the largest saltwater lagoon in Europe and has 28 kms of sandy beaches. The nearest beaches include San Pedro del Pinatar, Santiago De La Ribera, Lo Pagan and Los Alcazares, all just 15 minutes by car. The shallow non-tidal waters of the Mar Menor make it an excellent choice for families with small children. Water sports are also available.


Sucina Village area

The apartment overlooks the village of Sucina which is 1 minute's walk away. It is 30 minutes drive to historical cities such as Murcia and Cartagena. Waterparks at Torrevieja (25 mins).
Sucina is ideal if you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism and yet it is within easy reach of local resorts, golf courses and places of interest.
The village has banks, a post office, garage, tobacconist, pharmacy, 3 mini supermarkets (one of which serves English breakfasts and snacks in a cafe area), a bakery, several bars, a wine bar that serves great tapas and also full meals, an Indian restaurant, Pizzeria, fish and chip shop and an English butchers.


How to get there

Murcia (San Javier) airport is 10/15 mins by car.
Alicante airport approximately 55 minutes by car.
Car hire is recommended. I always use Solmar and can highly recommend them.

There are a large number of airlines that fly into Murcia and Alicante from various UK airports all year round. These include Monarch, Ryanair, Easyjet, Thomsonfly, bmibaby, flybe, flyglobespan and mytravelite.

Bookings can be made either by phone or over the internet.
A refundable deposit of £100 will secure the booking and full payment of the rental should be paid 6 weeks prior to the holiday.
The deposit will be returned no later than 2 weeks after the end of the booking, providing satisfactory inspection.
There will be an end of occupancy clean at a cost of 45 euros payable locally.

There is a one off cleaning charge of 45 Euros at the end of the stay payable locally. This is not a hidden charge and is reflected in the fact that our rental prices are lower than others.
