This amazing villa is suitable for a party of up to twelve people to enjoy a holiday today in Tuscany. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor, while the remaining rooms lead off from the living room which you'll find on the first floor. All the bedrooms have access to their own bathrooms, making this the perfect villa to stay in for families, large groups and couples ensuring privacy for all.

The bedrooms are not small either – one boasts an impressively large fireplace while another has a modern four poster bed. With beautifully decorated features in every area, you can be assured of the best night's sleep – as well as finding plenty to do during the day.

The social areas of Villa Tre Querce are just as appealing. The open plan living area features a practical kitchen tucked in one corner, and a well placed dining table and chairs nearby. Double doors open out onto the garden area too, so if you'd rather grab a bite to each outside you can do just that.

There is ample seating indoors and the rustic nature of the villa is continued with the help of antique floor tiles made from clay. The restoration that took place a few years ago honoured the villa's original look, carefully bringing it up to date and providing a charming and welcoming villa to stay in today.

You will undoubtedly love the exterior of this property as well. There are plenty of green spaces to enjoy here, and some shady spots to find underneath the trees. We feel sure you will want to head down the steps though, as this will reveal one of the best features Villa Tre Querce has to offer – the swimming pool. With ample room around the edges to sunbathe using the loungers provided, you will spend many an hour here soaking up the sun and splashing around in the water.

The villa is located 800m (less than half a mile) from a small town of where you can find grocery stores, local products, and a bread shop.

At approx. 2 km you will find the town of Santa Mama, with amenities including a post office, a bank, a gas station, a supermarket, and all types of pizzerias and delicious trattorias.

If you have a car, it is recommended that you visit some of the neighboring villages, just a few kilometers away, such as Poppi (20 minutes), Subbiano (10 mins), the Monastery of Camaldoli (30 mins), the church of Verna (30 mins), the city of Arezzo (20 mins), Cortona (60 mins), or even the enchanting area of the Casentinesi Forest (40 mins), plus there is always the golf course at the Golf club of Casentino (30 mins.) which has 9 holes.

About this location

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is known for its landscapes, traditions, history, artistic legacy and its influence on high culture. It is regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and has been home to many figures influential in the history of art and science, and contain well-known museums such as the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace. Tuscany produces wines, including Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino. Having a strong linguistic and cultural identity, it is sometime considered "a nation within a nation". Seven Tuscan localities have been designated World Heritage Sites: the historic centre of Florence (1982); the historical centre of Siena (1995); the square of the Cathedral of Pisa (1987); the historical centre of San Gimignano (1990); the historical centre of Pienza (1996); the Val d'Orcia (2004), and Medici Villas and Gardens (2013). Tuscany has over 120 protected nature reserves, making Tuscany and its capital Florence a popular tourist destinations that attract millions of tourists every year.

The area of Arezzo has many places of interest to visit, restaurants well worth a visit include Castello di Valenzano in Subbiano, a restaurant within the castle offering delightful Tuscan cuisine with good wine and excellent service.

In Arezzo itself you must visit the Piazza Grande (also known as "Little Siena" due to its close resemblance to the Piazza del Campo in Siena). Here you can join in with the evening Passagiata before choosing one of the many restaurants overlooking the square or located just off the square. By day it is a lovely square with two historic churches to spend some time sightseeing and to enjoy Italian hospitality at its best! Set on the top of a hill in the middle of this medieval town is the magnificent cathedral Duomo San Donato, with wonderful frescoes and stained glass and if you are lucky enough you may get to see a wedding procession arrive.

To the north of the region there is Bibbiena and Poppi, both well worth a visit - in Bibbiena, not to be missed but also not easy to find is what can only be described as 'slow food at its best' is the restaurant Tirabuscio which sits just in front of a little theatre Dovizi in the old town of Bibbiena. The owner prepares and serves a delicious assortment of pasta dishes and the Salumi and affettati were of top quality. A small establishment, but one not to be missed if you are visiting this area.
