Up a little footpath, Blandfords nestles peacefully in its sunny south facing garden. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and a bathroom in this little gem of a house as well as a gorgeous, atmospheric sitting room with a massive inglenook and roaring log fire.
An all weather cottage, it is cosy in the winter and a delight in the summer when the doors of the conservatory can be thrown open onto the decking.

The Central England / Cotswolds / Cheltenham / Gloucester region
The honey coloured stone buildings that make up the distinctive architecture of the Cotswolds are famous the world over and the villages of the North Cotswolds heave with visitors the year round.
The South Cotswolds which, we like to think are more beautiful, are less touristy but still offer the traveller plenty to enjoy.
All the traditional country pursuits are readily available with large does of culture and shopping thrown in for good measure.
Stroud / Oakridge Lynch area
Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Tetbury and Bath are a short drive away. Oxford and Stratford are a little further but still easy to get to and from within a day.
If you like trees, take a trip to Westonbirt Arboretum. Lovely at any time of the year, it is particularly beautiful, I think, in the autumn.
Country fairs, music festivals, cheese rolling and the like abound.

Hi speed train from Paddington to Stroud.
By car via M5 from the South West or the North West. By car via M40 from the East. By car from London on the M4.

Further details indoors: For many years, Blandfords was my family's Friday afternoon destination. We would jump in the car and hurry up the motorway as fast as we could to get there.
When I opened the door to my beloved cottage, my spirits would lift every time and all the pressures of a stressful life evaporated. It is still a welcoming haven, a pretty 4 bedroomed cottage with a wonderful open feel and a flexible, comfortable layout.
Further details outdoors: The south facing garden is a sun trap. We provide a BBQ and a basic selection of garden games but we can arrange Bouncy Castles etc to be hired for you, if you wish.

In order to secure the property, you need to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance and a refundable £150 damage deposit are due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
We urge you to take out insurance against cancellation and will help arrange this for you, if you wish. We are happy to take credit card and BACS payments.
