Cottage | 8 bedrooms | sleeps 20
The Old Mill is a house full of character and atmosphere. A substantial detached house, it began life as a mill worker's cottage but has grown over the years to become a spacious and stylish home. Decorated and refurbished with care, it retains period flavour but combines it with modern convenience.
There are 8 individually decorated bedrooms, all with zip and link beds so that the sleeping arrangements can be tailored to suit each party. 5 bathrooms, 3 of which are en suite, and a cloakroom mean that, even when the house is full, there are no long queues for the loo.
The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances you need to making mass catering a pleasure but, if you prefer, we can arrange for your very own chef to come and cook for you. The spacious dining room seats 30 [more at a push] and is the ideal place for celebrations.

The beds are zip and link so that you can chose how many singles or kings you want. There are 3 separate sitting rooms plus a big dining room that is a great venue for parties and is large enough to seat the guests at both Blandfords and The Old Mill together.
The house sprawls and has a total of 7 staircases. Most of these are only a couple of steps high but it does mean that the house is not ideal for anyone with mobility problems. As well as a big flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player, there is plenty of old fashioned entertainment on offer in the form of books, toys and games for all ages.

The Central England/Cotswolds region
The honey coloured stone buildings that make up the distinctive architecture of the Cotswolds are famous the world over and the villages of the North Cotswolds heave with visitors the year round.
The South Cotswolds which, we like to think are more beautiful, are less touristy but still offer the traveller plenty to enjoy.
All the traditional country pursuits are readily available with large doses of culture and shopping thrown in for good measure.
Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Tewkesbury, Tetbury and Bath are a short drive away.
Oxford and Stratford are a little further but still easy to get to and from within a day.
If you like trees, take a trip to Westonbirt Arboretum. Lovely at any time of the year, it is particularly beautiful, I think, in the autumn.
Country fairs, music festivals, cheese rolling and the like abound.
